Remarks :

Can improve in a lot of areas Like more focus on extracurricular activities and sports Rest is all good Hostel construction would help This is app what I think about my college I hope it improves and flourishes

Course Curriculum Overview :

Great curriculam This is common in almost every college in India. The course curriculam actually dives into the basics of engineering and it's applications. Allowing us to grasp content through theoretical and practical methods

Placement Experience :

Not so good The college is sityated ina remote place and hence not many companies vist campus although there are some companies which do visit The placement for textile engineering is 100 percent while the rest of the streams is around 40%

College Events :

Twask- the cultural festival held usually in winters (but now will be held in September) hosts more than 1000 students providing numerous opportunities for students to display their talenta Chakravyuh-the sports fest held in February Decible- the technical fest

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Around 1 lakhs per year including academics and boarding It can easily be afforded Breaking it down Fee per sem- 33000?(average) Boarding-since there isn't any hostel so students either opt for PG or Rooms which are available in bulk in Sundernagar

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A lot of scholarships offered along with the state government For economically weaker sections For backward classes For girls (yay feminism!!!) For Exservicemen and their wards And a lot of other scholarships which are presnted to students

Campus Life :

Great laboratories with all the bells and whistles Imoarting great knowledge to students Consists of almost every type of laboratory concerning to each and every department Extracurricular activities are not frequent

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is still under construction. It doesn't exist so students either opt for PG or Rooms which are available in bulk in Sundernagar. So basically you would feel like a school student if compared to how the boarding is.

Alumni/Alumna :

Very helpful They keep in touch and help out in internships as well as guide us through the curriculam They are very helpful, humble and easy going It's great to interact with them and know about their journey

Exam Structure :

Great Allowing us to express content through theoretical and practical methods Exams are undertaken under strict supervision and hence the exams are very fair and challenge the fundamentals developed in the minds of students throughout the semester

Admission :

Admission can be done through 3 channels- JEE Main marks HPCET score and Class 12 percentage Application can be provided through either of these channels on HOTI website Himtu.ac.in After which seperate councelling dates are setup for different channels The councelling is physical

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would have loved it if we were given more group projects or something And would also loved it if some practical activities were held for our batch, Maybe also if we were taught how to work in the private sector and what are some responsibilities related to it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a web designer. The faculties are quite interesting and hard working and the faculties are good. Maximum faculties are quite good. Some have done MTech and some are Ph.D. holders. Exams are mediocre and there are semester systems and likely to be in January and July.

From the 7th semester, you are eligible for campus placement. It can even be before that it just depends on your knowledge. Maximum students got placed and had an average package of 5-6 lakh. Basically, according to chinkara, it's 100% placement. but you have to do your best.

There's no semester system the course is completed in four years after that one is eligible for placements. Training is done in IGMC hospital Shimla, KNH gynaecology hospital Shimla, psychiatry hospital Baluganj Shimla, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital Shimla. Placements are made on the basis of marks and interviews by members of hospitals like Appollo, medanta etc in Gurgram and Dehradoon respectively. 90-100%students are placed every year. After getting the degree I will continue my job in whichever hospital I'll be placed in for a year or two and side by side prepare for the CHO exam.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. I am not that knowledgeable about the companies and offers on the campus. Students having CGPA above 7.5 are likely to get in campus placements. I plan on going for government jobs in the civil engineering sector after the completion of my degree.

Admission:

To get into the MBA program in this college, you need to qualify the CAT exam and get a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your graduation. As of now, there is no other way to get into this college for pursuing MBA.

Placement Experience:

Yes, you do get placement from the college. Some of the reputed companies along with other companies come in the college for recruiting the fresh MBA graduate. Also, you do get to do a summer internship while studying in the college.
