Remarks :

Graduation is an exciting time on our lives and this college has done an exceptional job in furnishing the nature and aspects of the candidature, internally as well as in the external environment of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of BJMC has a total number of 156 credits and the completion of the course requires a total of 150 credits. The course curriculum states it's objectives very clear and they do their best in order to provide you knowledge. What you do with that knowledge and how you implement it is up to your individual capacity. My purpose here was to gain clarity and find my personal objectives.

Internships Opportunities :

The college certainly does not provide internships but does issue complete assistance to you for making you eligible to apply for them yourselves. Some of the companies I've worked with as an intern are- NDTV GOODTIMES(2015) WFIVE COMMUNICATIONS(2016) IOCL(2017) PEPSICO INDIA (2019)

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are fairly good enough. The college has a placement cell for this purpose and the previous year records are very good indeed. I am currently working at an Advertising Agency and my clients are the top notch companies.

College Events :

There are a number of festivals that take place in the college campus and is intended to be popular on an inter college level. The USP of this college is that students do each and every thing by themselves with the mere guidance of professors and uncompromised efforts put by them. Some of the festivals and events celebrated are- Spandan (BJMC) Gravity (LAW) Art Fiesta (Art festival) Sarvasutra QuizUp Etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is regulated by GGSIPU as this institution falls under that university. It is feasible than Amity or other universities with better infrastructure and it is definitely expensive than Delhi University.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A merit based or management based admission criteria is implemented and it is managed well. The student loan facility can be easily availed by any bank you visit with no collateral and 100% claim coverage for this purpose.

Campus Life :

There are numerous number of extra-curricular activities that you are provided with including all the kinds of sports you're willing to play, wheather they are indoors or outdoors. There are also different libraries dedicated to the students with the purpose of dissemination of information in all the varieties of books you can read and see. Also, the college library membership continues even after your course duration is exhausted.

Hostel Facilities :

The infrastructure facilities are top notch with a fully air conditioned campus and dedicated professionals to serve the best way they can. The college has a football field, pool/snooker, table tennis, ground level parking, cafeteria etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. The alumni network is strong enough to easily connect any student to all the questions and queries they face. Journalism and Mass Communication alumni and faculty are specially designed to effectively shape the student and his mentality and they do their job well!

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is very organised within the college premises and that is a sufficiently good thing to happen as your planning and stability are two main determinants in the process of appearing for exams.

Admission :

GGSIPU conducts CET( Common Entrance Test) for different courses and on the basis of your performance in that entrance test you qualify for the college you're suitable for. For example- I secured rank 400 out of a number of 50,000 students in the BJMC CET(2015) and I was allotted VIPS on the basis of my preference list for colleges.

Faculty :

The faculty is one of the best and most helpful faculty I've been working with and there is not one single thing that would not make them help you if you're in trouble unless you're obstructing the college rules/regulations, I will always relish the showers of knowledge they have.

Entrance Preview:

There was no entrance exam and admissions were taken on the basis of the percentage acquired in 12th class. I chose the course because i did not make it to NIFT Delhi which was my first option but this being the second option to reach to masses, i joined this course.

Admission:

This is the only procedure for admission. The centralised Delhi University form that comes somewhere near April is the form that needs to be filled for this. When the cutoffs are out in June/July, we need to take all the required documents to the college.

Remarks:

The college topped in all aspects in providing the mass communication students the studio and equipment facilities. One thing that always touched my heart was the facilities for the PWD/blind students. The college infrastructure makes sure they are comfortable and self-reliant all the time.

Remarks:

Somewhere college management was not up to date. They charged fine if any student is not completing their 75% attendance for exam Hall ticket. So I hated this system and even now I don't support this corrupt way.
