Internship Opportunities

At this beginning of the academic year they provide a syllabus calender . One of the special aspects of the curriculum that influenced me is the interation between students and public .There is a great opportunity for the law students to interact with the public through legal surveys and awareness classes etc .But they should provide a platform for every students to develop the skill of public speaking . In the first and second year exams are very lag .

Many of the companies like Microsoft ,Google ,wipro etc provides internship opportunities for the students by the help of placement cell .As Trivandrum is the capital city many of the headquarters of different statutory bodies and NGO are present .students can either go to court work or advocate office for proffessional experience .It is mandatory for the final year students to conduct Legal survey and ADR

Placements are usually given to the final year students . As the college is a government institutions there are some limitations for the functioning of the placement cell also . But from the first year itself students are selected as members of the placement cell .The placement cell of the college usually conduct interactive sessions with expertise ,Group discussions ,Job fest and mock interviews etc .25 % of the students get placement each year .My plan is to either go For MBA or Litigation Field

Iam an OBC student ,There for I have E- grants scholarship .Those student have this scholarship do not need to pay the tuition fee and exam fee At the time of admission a 5000 rps as PTA fund was collected by the college . For the students of general category tuition fee is 1200 / per year and they also have to pay the exam fee.The fee collected by this college is very less amount comparing to a other institution . Hostel facility of this institution is also affordable

Life experience in the Law college has both pros and cons . There is lack of area for constructing new buildings , Play ground and recreation room etc and the governmental aids for the college is not properly recieving . There are so many clubs in the college for extra curricular activities like malayalam club ,sports club ,moot club ,literary and debate club etc.The college has two Nss unit and also 1 NCC unit

Law college Hostel is so affordable .But there is a fitness issue for hostel building it is too old .Meal quality is good because mess is managed by the students itself .The admission process is based in the distance of the students

Trivandrum is actually a civil service hub . There are so many institutions near the college ,so after the classes in the college we can go for civil service coaching .many of the students are the faculties of the civil service institutions nearby .Law college Trivandrum is my first option in the allotment list and I also got admission there in the first allotment itself . The students are admitted on the basis of the rank in the entrance exam named KLEE conducted by the state government .

There are 800 students and almost 50 staff were present in the college . Each of them are highly qualified in their profession and also very hardworking .But some of the faculties are not student friendly There are 6 semester exams . Exams are neither too easy nor tuff .But the valuation is very strict and pass percentage is below 60%

Night life is so good in the campus. The curfew time for the ladies hostel is 9.30 .The library closing time is 7pm.There sre so may hangout places near college Zoo ,shankumukam beach ,East fort ,padmanabha temple and LUlu mall etc.The locality is not much safe for night Life
