Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got ECE because i was not getting CSE on my rank , and I did not select AI-ML as it was a new branch . I personally dont have much interest in ECE , I study only a day before exam like every engineer . Other than that i would say that not all the teachers who teach are meant for this proffession and the same applies here in this college aswell few of them are very good , but then few comes who sometimes even I think need to attend some lectures on their subject . Talking about exams . exams entirely comes from the past papers , you will wasily get rg publication previous year from stationaries in the campus and with this you'll easily sail through the exam .

Placement Experience

4

Placemts over here are okayish i would say , but the thing is that mostly govt exam aspirants come here so that they can study peacefully without thinking much about attendance an all , there are few clubs for tech enthusiast as well , and you will eventually know students who are into coding and stuff because they are very few . 7-8 Companies are visiting during this recession time , mostly service based , With the avg package of 5 lpa .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this college is quite affordable , for even semesters its around 40,000/- and for odd semesters its around 37,000 , So the total yearly fees comes under 80,000/- . This is for general category students . For SC and ST category fees is as low as 1 rs , and there are various scholarship available for sc st students and j&k residency students . Fees earlier was even lower than this , somehow they increased it this year (the above mentioned fees is increased one only) but for coming years its not expected to increase as it has already been increased (but cant guarantee). Hostel Fees is Very minimal aswell , Its around 15,000/- per year and monthly mess fees of around 2,000-2,600 depending upon the number of days u have eaten in mess.

Campus Life

5

The college infrastructure is very big , its a 600 acre+ campus with separate sports cxomplex auditorium swimming pool and what not , but you can only utilize it if you will get yourself involved in such activities , dont be me who was just bedrotten in my hostel room . Along with that i would say I tried many clubs here I was the chief anchor in each one of them but later started avoiding clubs because it was taking me in the time killing direction (story of every college club lol). For infrastructure i wish i could give 1000 stars well furnished libraries and reading room with huge seating capacities , So clean and Green Campus .

Hostel Facilities

4

You will always get a two seater room , the capacity of the room will be quite big and if you have any back in any of your exam then you will be having a 3 seater room . Hostel food for atleast girls hostel is veryyy goood , you get milk you get curd along with 3 proper meals a day , the menu is completely based on north indian taste palette and i can only say that im very much satisfied with the quality of food here. Fees is very affordable as well its 14,000 per year and the mess fees will be around 2100-2500/- per month depending on the number of days you have eaten. please remember , hostel >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pg

Admission

I took a drop so i had no other option left with my JEE rank only this state government college was offering me a chance to pursue a Btech degree , So I took admission over here without any second thought and honestly dont regret it , I couldnt expect more on that rank honestly . For admission process is quite simple you have to fill the form of hstes counselling and the catch here's that you wont even get chemical branch here in online councelling but hold your tea and attend the physical councelling of the college , details of which will be shared in its official portal , in the offline councelling you will get a way better branch.

Faculty

4

Here we have semester exam schedules , every year ther is a even semester and a odd semester , and in each semester we have to give two internal exams and out of these two best marks of any one internal is calculated , practical exams are scheduled meanwhile . Our semester Exam Consist of 75 numbers and internals consists of 25 marks . And with each passing semester we get or detailed printed marksheet in which our percentage of each semester is mentioned. Faculties are pretty much supportive until or unless you are someone who's showing their face for the very first time .

Night Life

4

There are many cafeterias in in our campus , but for girls there's a night cerferew , from october to march the cerfew starts from 7 P.M to 5 A.M and from April to September it starts from 8 P.M to 5A.M , No movement around the gate is allowed during this time . And i honestly dont know much about the night life from a guy's perspective , but yes they can roam around at anytime they want absolutely zero restrictions. Cerfew over here is not a bad thing i think its best according to the environment of Rohtak . And the girls hostel is very safe , please chooose hostel over pg .

Placement Experience:

I personally feel that The Placements for Cream layer branches like CS and AI&ML are satisfactory. But for the lower branches, Off campus recruiters would have more to offer than the Recruiters that visit the college. Average package for all branches would somewhat be ~6 Lakhs, which is not very impressive. Most of the students aspire to get placed in PSUs so they end up preparing for Gate exam.
