Remarks :

Nothing negative about my University. I am entirely fulfilled with my University's presence. All what i have gained is only for my development. The positive thing is motivation and encouragement towards students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My every semester contains 10 subjects and we have the freedom to select our own elective papers and i can even select from other Department. We have the opportunity of doing a student exchange program in france and i am glad to share with you.

Internships Opportunities :

Yeah, we have to do internship right from our first year end to gain the practical and industrial knowledge and to have experience with the specializations what we take. We can do our specialization in 3 domain.

Placement Experience :

Our placement record is always very excellent with the companies and banks like TCS, icici bank and citi union bank etc till now out of 41, 35 got placed and even this year, we will do the same record of placement.

College Events :

At first we celebrated the orientation program, proceeded by the synergy meet, then hr fusion at rain tree hotel, pongal celebration,women's day celebration, alumini meet Holi celebration, farewell meet from Department, open viva voce for former IAS officer etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very much low compared with private institutions. For regular students it costs around 27000 per year and for self supportive it is around 46000 per year. This is 1/5 of the fees in private institutions. This is one of the reason to choose my University.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For hostel students we are provided with scholarship of 8000 and the Phd students are provided with stipends for their research and scholarships for students with good distinction in their academics. And even every government scholarships are utilized by the students of University in different schemes.

Campus Life :

We are provided with gyms facilities. We have a separate labs for every Department. We have cultural activities during our celebrations. We have fun activities for every week. We attend all the events that takes place in other colleges.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are for most better when compared to other government hostels. We are provided with 24 hrs security and complete freedom inside hostel. Even we get enough water to utilize it for daily use. The rooms are provided with 2 tubelights and fans.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We have even seen such disciplined and polite seniors till now. Their way of approach towards us are like bros and sis. Their way of encouragement and motivation is different. They share their experience and knowledge with us. They fulfilled our expectations with joy and happiness.

Exam Structure :

We will writing two internals, in which first internals for 40 and converted to 10 with a syllabus of 2 units and second internal with same procedure carrying out remaining syllabus. 10 marks for presentation skills and 10 marks for assignment and our semester exam is for remaining 60 marks so totally 100

Admission :

I wrote tancet and my mark is 53.667 then i applied for counseling. Then they released rank list. I attended second day of counseling and got my allotment order for self supportive division. Finally i submitted all my originals to my University along with challan for all deposits. I am very much proud to say that i am a student of Unom

Faculty :

My faculty members are outstanding in their research and our academics, they provide us practical knowledge and additional knowledge and skills. Even they always say that we are manager and they treat us like that with respect.

Review about my college

Remarks:

Good Infrastructure and Teachings.Teachers in our college are well-trained and experienced to teach us. They also provide audiovisual classes for better understanding and encouraging us for seminar classes. This course helps us to gain practical knowledge as faculty members explain concepts with a practical session. Semester exams conducted at the university are good, and the pass percentage is 85%.Our college is located in the middle of a highway, and it has huge coverage of the area. It has A, B, C, D and E blocks with canteen. Our college provides both girls and boys hostel, B.Ed block, MBA block, nursing block, a huge playground with garden. The quality of the food served is good, and weekly once we get non-vegetarian food. We have a library with Wi-Fi access.

Admission:

Most of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 7,000 per month. Many top recruiting companies visit here. Almost 40 students got an internship through the institute. We all are selected in all position in companies.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the campus interview from the completion of 5th semester which is, they are eligible to take campus interview after successful completion of half of their 3rd year of the course and they will be generally held in the month of November and December. Every year various companies have been selecting students from MCC such as Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys, HCL, etc. Each year around 40 to 50 students will be placed out of 80 students of that current batch. The students of MCC has been getting quite higher packages when compared to other colleges. Students from MCC has been getting a package around 8.5 lakh per annum which is a quite higher package as the other students will have to have a 3year of experience to attain this package. Around 60 - 70% of students getting placed every year. I have being palnned to do masters in the same college.

Campus interview. In Sastra, Various top IT companies and banking sectors are coming for Interview to select talented students and offer them a great opportunity to continue and lead a great career. They also offer great salary package for all the selected students.

Remarks:

The college has good in the language before some few years back. And still now it’s somhow good in relevance in the studies but sometimes much more pressure and extra works that was not much necessary in the departmental curriculum. One bad things is the college didn’t listen to the students voice and opinions and students were considered as money. Much more pressure and once president said is finalised and no options. There is many stories within the students that cannot reveals but most of all they wait for the graduation.
