Remarks :

Placement and job opportunity in my college is an overall positive remark in my college. Although it depends upon the students capability and their talent towards the placement test. Negative remark is none as per me.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The placement opportunities are pretty good, students can learn a lot externally as well as internally. Lot of clubs are there to participate and learn. NSS NCC NSO services should be served by the students at least for an year during there academics.

Internships Opportunities :

Some of the departments in my college provide internship. For my department there were no internships provided. Students should go and find their own internship. But if they ask the faculty who can refer us in some company, there are chances that we can get internship.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities are pretty good. Well they try to get as much companies as possible to the respective branches. It all depends upon our capability to crack them. They also conduct placement training in order to get rid of placement fear.

College Events :

Fresher's day will be celebrated in first month of first semester for new students of the college. Cultural fest called "Agni" will be conducted for students inside the college. Technical fest called "Kurukshethra" will be conducted internationally with the tag line 'Battle of Brains'. Technical and cultural fest called "Techofes" will be conducted as inter college students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is pretty feasible for normal students. Where as for an NRI it's expensive. For a normal student it will be around 8000 as tuition fee and 25000 as hostel fee per semester. Whereas for an NRI it will be different.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A lot of scholarships can be availed in my college. It will be very helpful for the students. From 10000 - 35000rs scholarships are being available in my college for the sake of the students once in a year for 4 years.

Campus Life :

Clubs and plays are vast in my college. There is this rule that students should participate in any of one service( NSS, NSO, NCC) and should serve at least for one year during their 4 years of college.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is not a bad one. They are good to accommodate and live. Though the college is pretty old, they will take care of maintaining services in hostels. Whatever the issues students face that will be taken care by the hostel wardens if they have been informed.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors will be ready to help juniors whenever it is needed for the juniors. They will conduct placement demos for juniors to bring confidence in them. They will also conduct work shops for juniors to gain knowledge.

Exam Structure :

They will conduct three internal assessments for a subject in a semester. All three are out of 25 marks. The best two out of three will be taken as an individuals internal marks out of 50. End semester exam will be conducted for out of 100 marks and they will convert them to 50. Now a student should score more than fifty including both the internal and external marks. Student should definitely get pass mark in end semester exam which is 50 out of 100.

Admission :

Through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), depends upon the cut off marks we get we can select the colleges. I have got 192 out of 200 cut off marks, which helped me to select the mechanical course in Anna University.

Faculty :

Faculties are pretty knowledged and experienced. Whatever the doubts we ask them they will clear those doubts for us. They will appreciate students in learning and they do support when students need their help.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
