Likes

College is being redeveloped and library is fully furnisged now
Some faculties r really good and also funnier sometimes
When u have a problem both the student union and teachers a accessible and they help a lot

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and make a issue out of everything
I hate some faculties they a full of ego specially the ones in 1st year u need to be on their good side else they will wail u
There is no shops or food centre outside the campus for about 30 min walking distance

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to be doctor but couldn't enter into mbbs so yes im here now... I kind of hate it here the whole college life but then sometimes it is good being a part of it and if nothing then i will be a doc at the end of 5 yrs

Internships Opportunities

After graduating from a medical college it really isnt about placement but when u r here u learn and observe the flow of patients here everyday then set up your own clinic or go for a government job while can also go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

I am in 2nd year and currently in ?8000 approx evey year Its including all tution fee cautios fee etc but a separate amount of ?4000 approx is fo be paid to the student unoin I didn't opt for any scholarship so cant say about it but yes scholarships are available

Campus Life

The annual festival r there like at the end of the year the college fest then welcome programme for the freshers, sarswati puja , diwali celebration, holi celebrating, Ganesh puja and a honor programme for the rememberance of the great people in homoeopathy etc

Admission

Well i never applied dor any other college The selection was wholly based on the counseling after neet exam The eligibility criteria is to crack the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test then u r eligible to opt for counselling where u can select whatever college u want to apply and then u get admission based on the college criteria of ranking in the neet exam

Faculty

In some department it is 5 over 50 teacher to student review while in some it is 1 over 50 ... Some faculties r good and approachable while some r full of ego.. As per the new curriculum there is iternal every 3 months and term exam every 6 month then a final university exam every semester

Night Life

Well outside the college there isnt very much to enjoy around all the nearby cafes and restaurants are about 30 min walking distance but a gym is closeby If u want to hangout there r many places in kolkata to visit with your friends u can make a new plan everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very much encouraged about knowing how companies and buisness culture work .so there were many major aspects in my course where I can get those knowledge. All the carriculam activities and studies really helped me to understand the professional work culture and systems. I was able to manage human resource management and marketing management after completed my course. There are many area where course carriculam should be updated. If teachers can show some more practical work situation, analogy, some more presentation and theory which are currently relevant in every professional culture. Then it would have been much more impactful for students. And the frequency and timings were good enough to have a preparation for exams , good enough for nurture and revision to deal with any level of difficulty .

Placement Experience:

The condition of the placement in my college is. pathetic because in 2000 and 25 the companies like Medanta came. Yeah, the companies are coming, but no salary hikes are there. Some. students are going to Medanta. They are having a salary of rupees 16,000 per month in a area like DelhiGurgaon, which is useless. See after the 5th same, the students are eligible for the campus placement if the student have any backlog, he or she might not be eligible. But that particular students will have to come back to the campus to keep the practical and the theoretical examinations and the highest package for this year is only 2 lakhs, which is offered by some it. company over here and the person. age of the students getting placement is only 5 to 10 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to start my own business to enjoy my life, to enjoy my capabilities, my and to improve my pros and cons.

A review of my Campus Life as a Student at NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last semester, i.e, after 5th Semester for us. The college gets good placements in Hospital Management. In the last placement cycle almost all the seniors got placed in reputable hospital. Mostly in Apollo Hospital, Delhi and Chennai, AIG Hospital, among others. Highest placement offered in the last placement cycle was of 9LPA to a MHA student and average placement is 5LPA. Around 90% students gets placed. Acter getting the degree I will sit for the College Placement Cycle and would aim to get placement at a reputable hospital with good amenities and salary and would also complete my MHA studies while working.

I applied for other colleges like..job charnok college of nursing, B.m birla college of nursing, and IQ city college of nursing and IINR ( my current college) , from them I choose IINR for their competative less fees structure from other colleges I rejected job charnok as it was away from my home town and in B.m birla I did not get the chance of admitted. My admission was in mop up round in IINR.
