Remarks :
We don't communicate with the other department staffs like our own department staffs. They are always running and work something. There is a lot of faculty stream are available like Faculty of Arts, Languages, Science, Engineering, BDS and Medicine.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Statistics. Because its a interdisciplinary as well as very interesting and efficient course comparing to the other curriculum disciplines. Moreover it has the flexibility that to apply all the fields. By this current trend the use of statistics is essential in all the fields.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes ofcourse my college provide internship on the basis of their qualifiactions. Mostly it based upon 2 to 6 months. Stipend for the students, scholars and the other members are 6000(others), 8000(students) and 10000(scholars) respectively.
Placement Experience :
There is a lot of MNC are come there and recruiting lot 100's of students every year. Both software and other field sectors are also select our college students on the basis of their performance not only in academics but also softskill oriented phenomena. If our students failed to get a good credits in their academics but their communication and softskill is excellent in touch the companies select them and they will give to our students as a seperate training then they will recruit. Most of the aluminis are working lot of companies throughotu india. So it will gain a better palce to the interviwers. I think its a best speciality in our university.
College Events :
1. Annual and sports day 2. Independence and Republic day 3. Intercollegiate meet 4. Intra departmental meet 5. Under Some government organisational scheme like womens day and ambedkar chair. 6. There is a awarness seminar are also conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Very much feasible. As a middle class student also join in our university as that much limited amount they take from us. Infact there is a due system also available. They are also charged fine for dues but its only for the betterment for the students for maintaining timing and punctual in their professional life.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every community wise, overall merit listwise there is a scholarship available in our university to seperate batch. But this two scheme course only applicable for the two years masters course students and all type of Phd and research scholars. The integrated stream students they can write the exams for getting the scholarships in government as well as private sectors. Loan facility also provided for all students but only in ICICI, Indian and city union bank.
Campus Life :
Its good. System facilities for browsing and get the informations what we are needed not only for academics but also apart from studies. There is a seperatr browsing center in our library. In laboratory all the necessary things they are updated upto date such as softwares, programs materials that we needed to use they will provide us.As far as sports concern there is an event has been participated every month by our university students to other universities or any contest not only in tamilnadu but also throughout india. Also they win prizes as well.
Hostel Facilities :
To be honestly said that boys hostel is under bad maintenence. But for girls they are in good stage. Seperate two different hostels for them nit for boys. There is a different type of hostels. Pg hostel ( 1 for boys and 2 for girls) Phd and research scholars.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes they are very much helpful for us. Infact they motivate us a lot through their personal experiences as what they face as a positive and negatives in their life. They are very much polite and give us to response like their brothers and sisters. In our departments there is a seperate alumini meet will be done in every six months. Throughout university every year they will organise.
Exam Structure :
Choice based credit system(for 2 years) and integrated stream(5 years). There is a system is followed by the departments as well as the examination sectors. Odd semester and even semester exams could be held on the month of November and May respectively. Before facing the semester as a student must face atleast two internals. Also practicals exam is donw on the supervisipn of the other university professors.
Admission :
I get my admission through merit wise. Infact i am the very first student in our batch M.Sc (2018-20). First of all i get the application form in the respective concerned department. Fill those things and get signature from their parents/guardians with the HOD signature. Then go to the university counter to pay the fees and get that reciept to the K section to confirm my admission.
Faculty :
Very nice and kind staffs. All are get minimum 15 years to 30 years experience in the lecture field. Also they contribute many ways mainly as board of directors in the universities council and so on.
