The course includes clinical rotations and hands-on training in hospitals, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-life scenarios. One university exam occurs per semester by delhi University. 2 sessional exams occur by the college per semester. The level of exams are easy to moderate but not difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise tuition fees of college is Rs. 8000/- per year which includes security fees of 1500 also. Admission in the Florence Nightingale College of Nursing is through NEET exam, so there was no charges of admission. Books cost around 7k per year.
Campus Life
The college campus is not available as the college is placed in the hospital. So, the hospital campus is the college's campus. As the college is associated with UCMS, students enjoy fests that occurs every year in May. Classroom size is fine but the chairs are too uncomfortable to sit. Various books are available in the library which can be issued using your library card.
Admission
I applied for many other colleges in Delhi that provide B.Sc nursing course like MAMC, LHMC, etc. but the colleges are alloted through counselling based on student's NEET score. I got this course and college though my score.
Faculty
Faculty is nice and Well-educated. B.Sc hons. Nursing course has a duration of 4 years including 8 semesters. Every semester has 3 subjects respectively, like the 1st sem include sociology and psychology, anatomy and physiology, and english. Faculty to student ratio is 1:8. The anatomy and physiology faculty is the best one I like. He has great teaching skills and makes the lectures interesting. 2 sessional exams occur per semester. At the end of every semester, there is a university exam. 99% of the students pass in the exams as it requires basic knowledge of books and chapters.
Interview Experience
No, The admission was based only on the neet score for all the students. The students with more marks received the college of their preference. The admission marks was also different according to the category the student belongs from.
Night Life
The library is present inside the college only so the college timings are the library timings which is from 8 am to 4 pm. Canteen is present near the college with many varieties of food, shakes, meals, non-veg, coffee, etc. The locality is not that safe during night as the hospital is filled with patients and u don't know them.
