Admission

I got GMC Nagpur in 1st round of MCC AIQ counselling, but I upgraded to JIPMER in 3rd round because JIPMER is a central institute(institute of national importance by MoFHW, Govt of India). It doesn't have any service bond unlike other state medical colleges and very affordable for middle class students.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio 1:15. Faculties are very approachable, they are very interactive and available everytime fir any issues. I liked all the faculties here. Exams are moderate to difficult but pass percentage is 90-100%.

Campus timings are till 12a.m. in night. You can hangout at any spot before this timings. It's safe to roam outside and inside campus. Many restaurants and cafes are nearby campus. You can use your own vehicle for travelling.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS in general is a very long and tiresome course. I suggest you to only take it if you are really passionate about it. Having said that, JIPMER's curriculum is one of the best all over India. They focus majorly on the clinical skills which ensures that by the time you finish your course, you will become one of the best clinicians.
