Remarks :
There are a lot to improve with my college. First of all good infrastructure with separate buildings for each year students need to me made as there is lack of infrastructure. Secondly the teachers of particular subjects who has done phd in that particular subject needs to be appointed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good as it’s divided in 6 semesters so there is less pressure in a students mind. Examination structure is in a way that in each of the Six semesters there are 2-3 core or say honours paper and 1-2 DSE paper.
Placement Experience :
There is nothing like placements and job opportunity till now specially for my course and subject. So for any job opportunity or the students willing to get a job will have to give interviews outside and get a job. No internship is provided for my course - B.com(H)
College Events :
Guru purmina and Saraswati puja are celebrated in my college. Also students are elected for the sport in which they are good and are further trained and practices are being done and then they are sent to inter college events
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It’s feasible. Because a total sum of ?11400 is all needed in my college to complete your three year , six semester degree course of “Bachelors in commerce” with Honours. During the admission time they will take around ?2000 and then in the second year also a sum around ?2000 and then in the final year too. Then there is examination fee which is taken while filling the examination form
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No i haven’t taken any loan from my college. And there is no such kind of facilities to avail from. Till now there is no such kind of facilities of scholarship provided by GuRu Nanak college, Dhanbad.
Campus Life :
Yes there are computer labs , library , clean washrooms , Big classrooms with good desk and benches. There is also sports room and big ground for playing. For parking there is a separate area where students can park their bikes and vehicles.
Alumni/Alumna :
If we talk about alumni of our college , there is no such communication between an alumni and students. They aren’t being introduced to college students. And if we talk about senior students the timings are different for each year students.
Admission :
We need to fill form and then merit list comes out with the names of the students selected and eligible to take admission in the college. After 1st list there after comes 2nd and 3rd list also. Students names in that list can get admissions
Faculty :
There are commerce faculty and arts faculty in my college. In commerce faculty there are a number of teachers of different subjects and topics. The teachers are present and ready to give answers to all of your questions. Its Commerce faculty is good.
