Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well made for the proper understanding and professional use. It is very helpful if you're looking to pursue courses like CA or ACCA. A combination of these with Bcom will skyrocket the amount of opportunities that you're gonna get in the job market.
Placement Experience
The placements are very good, with the highest package being 30LPA and the average being around 8LPA. The placement cell of the college is very helpful and accessible for us students. The seniors and th faculty are also very approachable if we need any help or advice.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees is around 24000. This is one of the main features which attracted me to Delhi University. If you go for other options which provide same quality education like that of this such as Christ or KJU, you'll have to pay a good fortune.
Campus Life
Campus life is very fun and chill, with all the clubs and societies being very active. I was the member of the Dance society in my first year and I'm sure I've had a fun time. Though slight groupism exists, it isn't something to hate.
Admission
First of all, this is a constituent college under the university of Delhi. That alone should explain. The amount of exposure and opportunities that you're gonna get by paying only a fraction of the fees paid in the private colleges is a steal deal. I had applied to Sacred Heart College, Thevara in Kerala and got admitted. I switched from that college to Hansraj after understanding that it will be a much better option for my studies and future. The eligibility is determined by your score in the CUET exams conducted by the National Testing Agency. Cutoffs are very high, if you're looking for BCom in a North Campus college.
Faculty
Not all faculties are well qualified. There are many amazing teachers but a very few are not qualified. I was surprised to hear that one of my faculties was about to undergo their MCom exam, I almost questioned their entire hiring system.
Night Life
We have 5 café outlets around the campus, which is relatively cheap if compared to the food prices outside the college but recently they've increased the prices. It is to be noted that all the outlets inside the campus only serves vegetarian food. The locality is safe around night but it isn't well lit everywhere. But as a precaution, be aware of pickpockets.
Other Applied Colleges
