Likes

Faculty are so kind and supportive towards students
Love the nature of the college( trees,bottle garden..etc),
And what not, the events.They celebrate a lot of events

Dislikes

They collect a lot of money from students for events and all those and all so charge fines for late payments
Canteen prices are so high which is not worth
Attendance is the biggest dislike where the student should have 80% attendance in each subject

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is due to its balance between theory ,practical sessions They implenet real time working models to explain the topic They need improve more in physical activities The time for one exam to another exam is good

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 60330 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be a minimal increment in fees every year As it is a minority college Fees will be less compared to other colleges and universities I paid 51350 in my first year 56000 in my second year and 60330 in my third year And also exam fees should also be paid for every semester

Campus Life

They are many events held in the college December is the month Christmas where there will be competitions to the students and also staff They celebrate freshers and farewell They celebrate ethinic day They organize intercollege fests

Admission

I have opt for this college because of its fee structure They give seats in the basis of there past performance in education There is no entry exam for this collge They consider your previous year academic scores

Faculty

They have 10 faculty for each subject Faculty is so kind to students Computer science and English department teachers are so helpful and supportive they help students in any situation There will be 2 internals conducted where best of 2 will be considered And they will conduct skill test module test practical test Semester exams are of 60 marks paper and practical exam is for 40 marks And internals are of 40 marks (CIA is if 20 marks and remaing 20 will be skill test ppts seminars all those)

Night Life

They have high security in the college premises There will security gaurds working 24/7 Our college corespondent will be living in the college They have separate cottages Campus timings are from 8:30 to 4 however different streams have different timjngs There are so many hangout places inside the college our favourite is the canteen era and rockpoint and we also gave aaram veeram for free time We also have indoor sports stadium

best and afforable high standard college

Placement Experience:

Beginning of academic year that is in the first year the CRT training is being started to the students. And from the begining of the classes every student is trained with various skills like communication skills, body language, fluency of english and mainly stage fear is reduced by making us practise these skills. Computer science background students specially trainined in labs. The highest package is 7.5lpa and average package is 3.5-4.5lpa and the lowest package is 1.5lpa . The MNC compaines like cognizant, wipro, HCLtech, infosys, genpact etc . recruited from our campus.

Life at Bhavans as a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just chose the course for nutrition but really fell in love with biochemistry more. The topics were really interesting and enjoyed the learning phase. In real life applications both of the courses fitted well and further options like msc are avaialble. The improvements aren't there but there could be more interactive learning. The exams and frequency all fits well and like i said they are moderately difficult.

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

Placement Experience:

My course is a 3 years course and the students could try for a placement from the start of 3rd year. They would have enough knowledge about the outside world by that time and they could start to apply for jobs and companies that they desire to work for. In our stream there are many companies that have visited us like gala foods, Nestle, Calavita, National Biodiversity Authority, Dodla Diary etc. I do not have an excat idea about the packages but that would range across 8LPA to 14LPA. Almost every student around 95 % get placed into the companies and few also opt for government sector for Quality Control Management, FSSAI and etc. My plans after completing B.Sc in Food Sciences Technology would be pursuing Masters degree
