Good college

I like electronics from childhood so i preferred electronics for the course and i choose Government polytechnic college KALAMASSERY for it because it is one of the best colleges un in our district and our college provides best placement and campus interviews than any other colleges the syllabus of the myn course is best and our revision is new so it is very easy syllabus as compared to the previous revisions. The teaching methods are bit shokam as compared to ther college not alll subjects but maths physics needs to be improved in the teaching method. So students should grasp it well during the time of studying 45 minutes is allocated for each period which os actually good for studying . time is not less nor big it is good. Each period is taken correctly without fail.and attendance is taken exach period which is actually a great thing if we cant attend first period we will not lose ourhalf day attendance as attendance is taken every period the ine thing i want to tell you is the exam time the date gap between two exams is low so there is a Little pressure un in studying even the timetable are given 4 weeks before exams i request to give time for attending next exams with atleast 2 days

They provide intesnhip at bsnl office for knowing about communication in the office and they also do us splicing of the optical fibres which is actually a great thing to me.and 2nd intership at lakshmi Infotech provide good training in python programming

From semester 5 the students are eligible for placement and campus interviews the many famous companies are come to placement drives. And many students are placed in good companies with good salary package the one thing is that the student are full pass out till 4th semester

As i am an sc st student I have reservations in seats and admission fees all are paid by the government pf kerala through e grandz And balance amount are credited to my account every sem there is an exam fee of 330 rs which is paid by my amount in my account others have to pay 600 rs Only egrandz scholarship that i applied in the college all though the fees are bit low when compared to other colleges because my college is a government college.tution fee is 500 per semester and it is also paid by the e grandz.there is no merit required for the e grandz only thing needed for e grandz is should have above 75 percentage of attendance. No academic excellence is needed to avail this scholarship the cautionary deposit is paid by myself its is 2000 rupeess and it will be given after we pass out from the. College.

The first program of our college is the freshers day it is the program conducted by the seniors of our college they welcome to our college. And the next program is association inauguration which is good and they also conduct magazine presentation and cultural festivals like onam celebration christmas celebration kalolsavam and sports

I have applied more than 15 government polytechnic college in our state and all i applied is on the reservation seats because i am an sc student my first preference is government polytechnic college KALAMASSERY with electronic and communication engineering.i applied with my 10th result certificate which i performed well in my exams so i got admission in the first allotment in my first preference .i didn't get any rejection from any college because i have descent marks in my certificate and also i applied on sc st reservation seats the admission process is very bad because our polytechnic college is nodal polytechnic college wich means if we cannot go to our distant college for admission we only needed to go to nearest nodal polytechnic college and admission process is taken from that college and the documents and details are sent to the distant polytechnic College where we got admission. the first thing is admission Process is document verification this is the process is that the given documents submitted through online are original and does not doen any malpractices and after the documents verification is done the candidate is is taken to a class where a teacher explains about the coures and nature of the course after that it will go through payment process. Amount is paid for association fee and cautionary fee Cautionary fee is only paid through card because it is sebt directly to directory ot treasuries

The student to staff ratio is very low in our college. The students are bit high in our college and there is less staff ratio according to the college.the staffs especially the teachers in our department is very good and good communication. But when coming to the lab faculties it is not good they behave rude to the students and shouting without any reasons and they are throwing lab records to for finding silly mistakes in the laboratory record even it is s rough laboratory record.the electronic lab is the only lab i liked in the college because the facilities are good and the facilities are good especially lab attender and lab in charge they are both very friendly students are happy to be in the electronic labs provide an atmosphere to do lab works and pending lab works The exams are also good with good revision classes before the exam dates will encourage us to perform well in our exams and the exam hall is also good with proper lights and fans with good quality wooden benches and desks the exam in charge is also very good as those were coming from other polytechnic colleges Lab exam theory is very easy and understanding if we want to do lab practical exams we have to proceed our laboratory written exams if we have done any small mistakes in program steps they will not make us fail instead they will write it as try again so we have time to rectify the errors they eill give 2 times for yhe the error corections . The viva question are based on the theory are quite good and it comes from the important questions marked by our teacher which is a great thing to the students

There is no gym in our college and We have jo complaints about that because they provide large spacious walkways between the trees The libraries are fullumy functional with all books available with good lighting facilities andd working fans etc they also provide in writing records inside the libraries which is actually a great thing and they also provide wifi facilities in library
