Remarks :

SSN college of engineering is one of the best colleges in india. Faculty of college is very helpful to students. They are dedicated, honest and punctual. Most of them are having Doctorate and remaining are currently pursuing

Course Curriculum Overview :

In a semester there are 3 continuous assessment tests(CAT).Among them best two is taken which consists of 30% subject credits and assessment tests which consists 10%credit.End semester is for remaining 60%credit

Placement Experience :

Placement record of SSN college is very satisfactory. Around 90%of students are either placed under campus placements or selected for further studies abroad and in top institutions of india like iits nits. This year Rs.102L/ANNUM is the maximum package offered by Facebook

College Events :

INVENTE is annual tech Feast of SSN college of engineering. It is organized in the month of sept or oct. INSTINCT is annual cultural feast of SSN college of engineering. It is organized in first or second weak of March

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is somewhat expensive but many number of scholarships are offered to deserving students which includes walk in walk out scholarship, almunia scholarship, moma scholarship, soports scholarship

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

number of scholarships are offered to deserving students which includes walk in walk out scholarship, almunia scholarship, moma scholarship, soports scholarship. Also education loan can be taken. TMB branch of SSN college guides about the loan procedure

Campus Life :

Labs are of modern standards and well organised. Cricket and football stadiums are of international standards. All other sports facilities are also available like basketball courts, tennis ,badminton, tt etc. Seperate GYM for boys snd girls are also available

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel accommodation is very good with all basic facilities. Food quality is almost satisfactory. Every batch is accommodated in separate hostels. For international students INTERNATIONAL HOSTEL is also available

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna :

Almuni of ssn college is very helpful.They guide, motivate and supports economically via almuni scholarship to the students. Seniors are also helpful. They guide and teachs personally their junior students

Admission :

Applied under ANNA UNIVERSITY SINGLE WINDOW and got merit shortlisted. Then through counseling I got cse department in ssn college of engineering. After came to SSN college and filled admission form with few other form and got admitted here

Faculty :

Faculty of college is very helpful to students. They are dedicated, honest and punctual. Most of them are having Doctorate and remaining are currently pursuing. They are cooperate and friendly too.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
