Remarks :
Faculties are good . College is also good but because of some senior students and their behavior our college is named bad. As the principal had changed, he's developing our college in good way and hope so our college becomes best. Fees are less compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course which I'm pursuing is BE in Computer. It is basically of 4 years and each year is divided into 2 semesters. Means in total 8 semesters. In each semester, there are 3 phases. Phase - I is of 25 marks online MCQ exam based on Unit 1 & 2, Phase - II is also of 25 marks online MCQ exam based on Unit 3 & 4, and Phase -3 is of 50 marks theory exam also known as End Sem Exam. So, this is the exam pattern followed in the Pune University (SPPU).
Placement Experience :
I've just completed 1st year now, so I've not gone through any placements , but I've herd a lot about placements in our college. In 2018, our our principal got changed and the new principal is looking forward to give 100% placements. He has been working hard to place good students ( who has fulfilled the criteria). Highest package of our college is 4L PA. And it is increasing and 70%of the students are getting placements
College Events :
We celebrate events in the month of January. Our college organises a lots of events like App Making, PubG, Counter Strike, Painting, Drawing, Speech, Bridge Making, Poster Making etc. Our college also has sports events like Throw Ball, Basketball, Kho-kho , Kabaddi, Cricket, Badminton etc.. And our college also celebrates days like black and white day, mismatch Day, saree day, retro Day and traditional day. We also have a big event known as 'Umang' , in which we students perform dance , Sing, do acts and have lots of fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Our college has less fees compared to other colleges in Pune. The fees of our college is ?68,000. And we can pay it in 3-4 installments. For open category the fees is ?68,000 , for OBC ?32,000 and for other casts like SC, ST etc, the fees is ?6,820.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are offered for all the students of all the categories. For open category, EBC form is provided by the Maharashtra government. I'm from open category and I was applicable for EBC scholarship. To be honest, that form is very lengthy and it needs quite hard work to fill the form. My fees were ?68,000 and it reduced to ?40,910 as I'd applied for EBC. and for other caste, there are also forms like Panjabrao etc. Our college also has loan facilities.
Campus Life :
Our library is quite big and it has varieties of books. After issuing a library card, we are allowed to take 2 book for 10 days and after delay, we are charged fine. We also have any labs like IT lab, electronics lab, Mechanical lab, fluid mechanics lab, civil lab, chemistry lab, physics lab etc. They are all heavily equipted and preform experiments during our lab hours. And the labs are well maintained, sometimes the instruments are not available but the next time we go, they provide us instruments. There are also activities carried out on special occasions like in Ganesh Stapana, Youth Day, Independence Day etc.
Hostel Facilities :
In our college, there is only girls hostel. It has good facilities like bed, water, fan, canteen. The fees for hostel per month is ?3,000 without food. The canteen is also provided and the food is good and the rates are cheap. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. It has 4 floors with 10-12 rooms per. Floor and 3 people in each room. The rooms size is average.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our college crowd is average.. Some people are rude and has attitude while some are good and helpful. I talk only with good senior students. They give guidance.for getting a good placement. Some of the seniors are waste of money and time as well.
Admission :
I appeared for MH-CET 2018, then I'd entered the names of colleges which I prefer. I entered 10 colleges, and got selected in Genba Sopanrao Moze College Of Engineering, Balewadi. Then I went to the college and the staff helped me to verify my documents and also took my original documents. Then , after verification, I was called to the college the other day to complete my admission.
