My Experience

Remarks :

FIIB is a very old institution and provides quality education to students who joins it. The course curriculum, extracurricular activities, faculty guidance is very nice. The only negative thing is it doesn't have it's own hostel due to lack of space but it does provide assistance to students who needs them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good enough. It covers all the subjects for having good business knowledge. Every year the course curriculum is changed to stay updated. The exam is conducted thrice a year with some small tests also.

Placement Experience :

FIIB does provide summer internship to all students at good organizations. My internship experience was very good and learnt a lot. Similarly placements are also good. Many companies come for campus placement every year and hire the best talent.

College Events :

FIIB does celebrate all the festivals of India. There are many events that takes place in FIIB. The cultural event is the best among all the events. There are many club events also. Many students participate in these events and get rewarded if they win.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

FIIB charges 8 Lakhs for 2 years program. I feel it's feasible, as students get a lot in return in these 2 years program. Placements are good enough to say that students get better ROI after getting placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did not availed any loan. It was my own funded. But FIIB does have loan facilities for students who can't afford to pay the fees for 2 years as and when required. They have tied up with various banks that provides loans.

Campus Life :

They are just amazing and superb. Every month lots of extracurricular activities happen to relax and boost our memory. It has various events for various activities and lots of students participate in these activities and enjoy a lot.

Alumni/Alumna :

FIIB has strong alumni network connection.Everytime some of the alumnis come to give guest lecture and also mentor the students to help them get better placement. Alumnis give a very good direction to students who are confused about their career.

Faculty :

Faculties are very much experienced and teach very well in the class. They can clear any doubt if any student has. They mentor each and every student throught the 2 years program. Even they upgrade themselves from time to time.

Placement Experience:

You're eligible for the campus placement from semester 3. I got a placement in a few companies like policy bazaar and Barclays but the salary is quite low offered by the companies. I opted for none of these companies and interviewed for many companies after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to do MBA as I did Bachelor's in business management from the same college and the next best alternative for me was to do a master's in the same field as it will give me enough good opportunities and specialization in the marketing field which I always wanted to pursue too. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and have great experience and knowledge. Though the teaching style of every teacher differs from one another. There is a total of 3 CES, 2 internals, and 1 external for each subject and we have 5 subjects in total.

Placement Experience:

Placement system is not like getting placement in a week time i.e. there is no concept of placement week here. But companies keep on coming throughout the year. Students generally get placed by the month of February. A number of companies like HUL, Bajaj, Wipro, TATA, ICICI, HDFC, etc visit the campus to recruit students. The package can go as high as 24 lacs for few companies, while the average is 10 lac generally.

Remarks:

Delhi school of economics(DSE) is one of the best B schools in Delhi. We compete with B schools such as imt Ghaziabad and few baby IIMS. The faculties are amazing and the college is located close to my home. Placements are consistent, averaging at around 11 lakhs.

The placement and jobs opportunity are average. In our college the companies are coming like giving average packages 4 to 5 lakhs. This is an average college. And the SIPs like only sales profile are coming. You have to sale like insurance, debit card credit card stock. You have to call some other people like cold calling etc. The stipend is performance based. 1000 or Max to Max 6000.
