  • Lack of quality infrastructure in the department, the building is too gloomy inside.
  • Most of the crowd comes from rural areas, it makes it hard for the people that come from urban households.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is filled with necessay information required in the industry. However 80% is unnecessary as it is either outdated now or theory based. The curriculum does prepare you for the industry as you are required to undergo several trainings to develop skills. There are exams mid semester and end semester which occur every 2.5 months or so

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placement after 6th semester. Students have to start preparing for placements from the start of final year. There are around 5 companies on average per year that visit the campus. They pick about 6 students each, at around 3-4 lpa packages.

Fees and Financial Aid :

During my time of admission i.e. 2021. The fees were 84000/- for 2 semesters. There are various scholarships to which students can apply, they can get benefits of upto 35,000. The students with reservations such as EWS and OBC only need to pay around 45000 rs. The SC/ST students need to pay only 4,900 rs total for the year. After the scheme from Maharashtra government , the fees for girls have been overlooked and they need to pay only for the conveniences of university, like hospital and library membership, they need to pay around 6000 yearly.

Campus Life :

Many techfests are held in the campus, each of the 6 branches hold their own event, and one techfest for the whole college is held. The books are available in the library. A high variety can be found about 3 reference books per subject. The college lacks in the sports department, there is no presence of any clubs. There is only a drama club that is active.

Admission :

The admission to this college is through cap process of mht cet. I applied to colleges like ICT Mumbai for chemical engineering. However due to very high cut off ober there, i.e. above 1000 rank I could not get a seat. So i proceeded to take admission in Shivaji University as it was near my residence

Faculty :

The faculties, from my experience are very accessible. You can always approach to them for your problems, they are very understanding, some even help with financial problems. The exams are quite tough than the other provate engineering colleges, this is because the question paper is printed by the university exam cell, instead of the the college exam cell. Over 70% students fail to clear all their exams in the first attempt. However it is easy if guidelines are followed.

Night Life :

There is no nightlife in the college, the hostel gate for girls close at 7.30 pm and for boys at 10 pm. The hangout places are at the food court right outside the college, the locality is safe as it is always filled with bustling crowd.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.

Campus placement are good but you should be skilled in your domain. Opportunity are provided to everyone. If not placed off campus is also good to go. But extra effort you have to put in there to get placed.
