Course Curriculum Overview :

I have opted for Business Analytics and Marketing. Most of the subjects are relevant but some are missing. Subjects like R, SQL, etc are for core BA students and not Dual. Exams are for 3 hours for 50 marks. Mid-difficilt.

Internships Opportunities :

For internship not many companies come. Stipend of subjective to each company. Some companies give stipend some don't. Some companies also give PPOs, i.e. preplacement offer. After this you also have to write a Summer Internship Project which will feth marks.

Placement Experience :

Students from 3rd semester are eligible for placements. Family Business students are not eligible for placements. Companies like the big4, Zomato, zepto,CBRE, etc have come for hiring. The average package informed by the college is 8.5L. Top 100 students have avg package of 11L. I plan on getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees for 2024-26 batch is 1250000. There are no scholarships givem by the college themselves. However student can opt for state scholarships. All specializations except Family business and sports/luxury management has same fees.

Campus Life :

There are two major fests. Parichay and Cranium. Parichay is a intra-college fest while Cranium is inter-college fest. Along with this there is Samskruti in November to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsav. The library is sufficient. Lots of clubs are there. Number of activities take place. One can have good time only if you are willing to put yourself out there. There Marketing, finance, BA clubs.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are not in the college campus. They are far. Bus facility is provided. Fees are accordingly- 1 sharing: 250000. 2 sharing: 235000. 3 sharing 220000. The fees also vary according to the kind of hostel you are opting for. There are multiple types. Food is same in all hostels. It's okay. Not too bad.

Admission :

Jain University is a reputed university. It is one of the better college in Bangalore. It's right in the center of the city. Placement are also average and not too low. Hopefully it will be better in the future

Faculty :

There are about 1000 students per batch and 100+ professors all phd holders. So the ratio is 1:20 for two batches together. There are many great faculties who will see potential and guide you personally. The exam structure keeps changing every year. Still one can expect one semester exam in April and one in December.

Interview Experience :

One can enter by giving CAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. if you've failed to give these exams, one can opt for JET. After this there would be a presentation and a PI. The topics for presentation will be mailed to the students and they can select any of their choice. It's fairly easy not too difficult.

Night Life :

The hostels are far from college so around college there is no night-life. The ares around college is not the best as well. One can go to places like Koramangala or Indira Nagar to experience night-life.
