- Campus has a good infrastructure with well equipped class rooms , good senior faculties who have completed PhD with mentors keeping a check on you daily , campus emphasis good amount of interest on academics
- Campus has gym , football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, volleyball court, swimming pool, squash, table tennis, 8 ball pool, library , general store , sickbay and medbay
Dislikes
- Management over here treats us like we are school. Kids with strict rules and no levarage literally termed as 5star jail it is
- Isolation from outside world makes us lag behind so that we are not aware what's going outside of world and doesnt let us grow
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mba in this curriculum actually made to take intrest in this course This curriculum is same throughout other institutions so we being in the same page and extra beneficial point ie we are getting a hand in mba that makes us improved version Ig no improvement is required Once in 2 months we have internal exams and each semester exams comes to end in end of 5th month which is fairly manageable and moderate in difficulty
Internships Opportunities :
1st internship is provided at 3rd year end know as industrial training and other at 4th year for 3 months known as management internship. These internship can be provided by college or outsourced 3 projects are given one is writing what you learnt in industrial training Other one at 4th year your own review article And next at 4th year
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements Zydus, Lupin , intas , Dr Reddy's comes for recruitment . On the basis of roles package is provided Nmims has excellent placement cell along with 100% placement and good companies come Highest package is 20LPA Avg 8LPA After degree I'm might do job or do MIM
Fees and Financial Aid :
Here we don't have scholarships neither sports quota, students from other categories pay the same amount as students from general category My course is integrated with mba in pharmaceutical management which is of 2 years in Mumbai So 1st yr- 2,75,000 2nd yr - 2,65,000 3rd yr- 3,00,000 Mumbai 4th yr- 4.5L 5th yr- 4.5L This includes caution fees ,lab fees, library and admission fees Management quota is there but fees remains the same.
Campus Life :
Overall experience is decent tbh , On social aspect inwould say it's very good kids across various states come here to study and we get to know about things . Here fest and events takes place on a good amount 1 event in every 3 weeks Tech fest like ambiora and vistaar Annual fest know as prothsahan Sports as flavium Mun And other club events We have a huge library with good books and journals With classroom equipped with ac , digital board Recently our college is participating in sports events like AIUT And we have student run social group known as each one save one . Which impacts us on a positive note
Hostel Facilities :
You will be assigned a fan , closet , cupboard, study desk and moving chair Mess food is fresh and decent quality butbtaste is pretty much avg . Registration can be done only when you come to campus while taking admission Shirpur is a place where you can rent a room or pg
Admission :
I had applied in srmist before this college I opted this because so that I could get additional bpharm+mba Which increases my avg package to 8,00,000 With good life in city like Mumbai Campus ensures 100% placement and degree value of mba is higher than SRM . Admission over here is based on merit list I scored 343 and closing number is 700 Here you make to merit list by giving nmimscet exam You should score more than 45% in your board exams
Faculty :
Faculty are quiet generous with behaviour and are levarage enough, some new faculties are not so good but defined the old ones are gold everyone with a PhD or masters degree in hand helps us to have a good grip on subject Exams are semestervise , each longing around 5 months with 2 internal exams in between Internal score max is given 25 Semester ends exam weightage is around 75 marks on avg With moderate difficulty 2 out of 30 students may fail . Course curriculum is well divided across 10 semesters
Night Life :
After a hectic day from 9-6 Everyone needs a cup of tea from aditi canteen which is common hangout spot and other is our boys mess Along with class mates Or you go to general stores have a packet of chips and some cold drinks . After snacks everyone has their own hobby to escape and have some happy time We have lawn tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball, Football, cricket , gym , yoga , 8 ball pool , swimming pool when you can have your leisure time Till 9pm we indulge inti activities 9-10 we have our dinner and later we have our in time by 10 on at 11pm we can have team coffee bread butter as you wish
