  • Attendance is strictly monitored (>70% is compulsory), so we don't get enough time for studying for competitive exams.
  • Students point of view should also be considered & every student should get equal attention.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is relevant & practical knowledge alongwith theoretical knowledge is also taught. Practicals are performed & they're really interesting if you give it your 100% attention. 2 sessionals are conducted by college & then you'll appear for University exams. Average of 2 sessionals is taken as internal marks.

Internships Opportunities :

College has tie-up with some Pharmaceutical industries & they refer us for Industrial training, which is part of B Pharmacy curriculum & is compulsory to be done in 3/4th year. Industrial visits are also done & college itself takes us there.

Placement Experience :

Placements after B Pharm are not much. After Masters there are placements. My plan is to do Masters after Bachelors degree. Some students opt for MBA , some for Masters in Pharmacy & others for some short time course & then Job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yeary fees for OBC category is Rs. 73,000 & Rs. 1,32,000 for General category. During 1st year admission we've to pay Rs. 5,000-6,000 extra for Lab kit for Practical . Fees for SC category Rs.1,445 & 20,000-30,000 for NT category. If selected through CAP round, you'll be benefited with scholarship of applicable from 1st year onwards, but if admission is from Management then you'll have to pay more amount & scholarship will be applicable from 2nd year.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is great & fests take place every year, here you get a great opportunity & chance to boost your confidence & event management skills. Some programs are organised by the students & for the students so overall your experience in extra curricular & co curricular activities will be really great. You'll get many opportunities & certificates for your involvement & participantion in events.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities include- Laundry Breakfast, Lunch, evening tea/coffee with biscuits ,dinner & milk after dinner. Cleaning (everyday) Hostel bus for going college A Cupboard, table, chair, cot (gaddi), pillow, bedsheet, blanket, hanging hooks.... everything separate for each student. Wifi Free Doctor checkup & consultancy Food quality is good. Menu keeps changing periodically by Food commitee. Hostel is affordable according to me as it includes many facilities & festivals are also celebrated with great enthusiasm. Hostel days are also celebrated which is of 4-5 days. You can directly take admission from Hostel office.

Admission :

I applied to other Government colleges of Pharmacy like Amravati, Poona college of Pharmacy etc.. MET was my 6th preference & I got selected through CAP round here. College is under NABL & NAAC accreditation, overall education is also good so I confirmed the seat & took the admission here. Maharashtra CET & NEET score & 12th marks (>60%)is the eligibility criteria as per the cutoff. Cutoff goes high for General & OBC category, more than 90 -92 percentile. Admission process is easy, as the staff for this purpose helps a lot.

Faculty :

Faculty is great, experienced staff is also available. The values & things taught by them are worth remembering for life. Exams are not really done difficult if you study well as per the questions , imps & syllabus told by professors. Students who are very irregular or who don't study at all usually fail or face A.T.K.T. Course curriculum is also useful for further career in industry or Masters.

Night Life :

Gym is constructed above canteen. All major equipments are available & trainer is also available. Music room is there where different kinds of instruments are available & you've access to play them. Music teachers are also present there. Plus some indoor Sports are also there, like table tennis, carrom. Pool etc. Cricket, basketball ground is also there outside the college for outdoor games. Hostel has good facilities, everything's included in fees . In timing for girls is 7 pm.

College provides with the placements . Many companies come for the placements but the average package is quite low like 2lpa and highest package of 3-3.5 lpa . Around 50 percent students are placed. The shortlisting for the placements is by the cgpa and the knowledge and on the basis of interview

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very interested in this course. As I love being in medical field this course keeps me in touch with the same. I don't think that there is need to improve in the course and the teaching methods are the best here. The exams are kept after every 2 months which I think is fine.
