Likes

Great teachers, they are very supportive and encouraging.
T&P department tries it's best to get you prepared for the placements

Dislikes

No proper transportation is available to go to college
As third tier college placements are bit low

Course Curriculum Overview :

The subjects of core are top notch we were also thought many CSE subjects and they too were very useful the only thing I would change is that I wish they include real technologies of core like vlsi or chip design as they would be lot more helpful than other subjects

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 150 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

I didn't get any of scholarship as my parent is a government employee so we payed all of the fee by ourselves. The fee is 55k per year as I'm a lateral entry I payed for three years and not to mention semister fee, it was 1500 per semister.

Campus Life :

Ofcourse other than freshers day and farewell day there are lot more technical fests. For every engineering day a tech expo is conducted where we used to do projects. And they frequently conducted other fests every 3-4 months. Every book that we required is available in library. Every class room is equipped with a projector. Sports is just meh in my opinion.

Admission :

I've only applied to this college as few people that I know suggested that this is the best college near us. I've secured 447th rank in ECET so I've easily got seat in the college. Although I got seat I'm not eligible for a scholarship as my dad is a government employee.

Faculty :

There are around 50 members in a class room. All the faculty are super supportive and very knowledgeable. They not only teach us the curriculum but also give suggestions about career and how to be placed easily. Our HOD is the best he is supportive to me at every aspect although he's very strict he is a great mentor.

Night Life :

We used to hangout near a foot path where buses are parked and most of the people used to hangout at cafeteria and in the ground. There is a theatre nearby where we used to go the weekend of any major movie release

students from 3rd year 2nd semester onwards are eligible to apply campus placements. TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc. they offer 70 percentage placements in our college. Amazon offered 44 LPA, TCS highest packge is 9 LPA Accenture highest package is 6 LPA. after completion of my BTech i want to become an AI tool engineer.

from 6th semester students are eligible for placements and can apply the interview process and career guidance in provided for students in every step. most of the students in it sector or computer science get placed in this college and other branches its around 40 to 50% placements. more than 100+companies visit college and highest package is around 35lpa and minimum is 2.7lpa

Story of Vignan University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't like the course curriculum at all. When I joined the college it was like a regular curriculum muds and one final sem exams. But when we going to 2nd year the curriculum was changed, if i knew about that, wouldn't joined there. The curriculum makes the students to form a batch of 4 students and have to do the Team work. Those 4 students have to share the work of each subject and prepare themselves for the viva. Frequency of the exams are well introduced.

Review With my own perspective and experience

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by college though it's recession period, they tried their best. From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited: Accenture, Mind x360, Gen technologies, Astroline, servo Medha. Number of offers are very low to some companies and some companies hired more 100 in count. In the recession periods 60 and above percentage of students are get placed. In normal times 90 and above percentage of students are getting placed. I aimed for job initially after that I want to become an entrepreneur.

If we talk about placements is really good. Companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro are all service-based companies that recruit people to our college. It is better to maintain no backlogs if you are appearing placements. The average package is 3LPA. The highest package is 7LPA By doing hard work you can get placement offers in placements.

Remarks:

First of all College is a one of the premium institute in Nellore.The main focus of college is to place all the studets in any company with a good salary.College has good faculty members and they teach in very effective manner.As college is located in the NH5 highway it is easy to transport.

College has a good placement record.Every year 80% of ths students got placed in the companies.TCS,CTS,HCL,Mindtree,Accenture MNCs are visited so far.THere are some other tier-2 companies also visited.
