Highly recommended JAMIA TIBBIYA DEOBAND– great curriculum, academics, and environment

Our course BUMS has professional system it means this course has 3 proff. , 18 months is equal to one proff and then the exams are held. So 4.5 years of studies and one year for the internship from college. Urdu is necessary for this course, since childhood I have been practicing Urdu reading and writing so it was easy for me to catch up to the subjects, if anyone who has not learned Urdu they can learn here as the college provide extra class apart from college hours for learning Urdu.

You have to fill two internships one from the any government hospital and other from the college each for six months constitueting 12 months. This method provides you character and skill development, once you've completed college internship you go to any government hospital and learn how you can apply your skills outside the college.

Course fees for one year is 1.5 lakhs now, but when I got admission it was 2.04 lakhs per year. The fees got less from the 2023-24 batches. Yes you can apply for scholarship. There are two scholarships firstly the NSP (NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME) and other is the State scholarship, students can apply for any one of these two scholarships.

This college has many programs like the Induction program for the freshers, we celebrate National Unani Day, Cultural programs like on Independence day, Republic day and character development programs like team teaching for students, debates, etc My experience till now is this college is wonderful.

Hostel facilities are wonderful. One room for two students, proper electricity with inverter, water availability all time and in winters facility for geysers are also available. Drinking water with RO system. Laundry services are twice in a week. Canteen is always open you can have veg and non-veg both options. Three time meals for hostel students breakfast, lunch and dinner apart from this you can get anything you like to eat in snacks. Hostel and mess accommodations are very convenient in comfort and expenses.

I chose this college because of its large infrastructure as compared to other private Unani colleges and also my relatives have pursued they degree from this colleges. Also this college has a result of 100 percent per year and has a remarkable rating among the other private Unani colleges in India.

Faculty members are very supportive in every aspect, polite in manner and very cooperative with anything you come over to them. Faculty members stays in college till 4pm in college and some members stay in hostel and available to provide help anytime.

As the the campus has a large area, with a vast greenary around it also has a herbal garden for the herbs, shrubs and trees with medicinal properties for the better learning of our course. Night life in winter is very enjoyable in the college mostly in the hostel. Students do bonfire in chilly winter nights and gathers around each other and interaction becomes more easy. Hangouts are mainly the terrace the gym area and not to forget the canteen because chai and snacks are necessary and canteen is open 24*7.
