Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum in my course is highly relevant and comprehensive, covering essential topics that are in line with current industry standards. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its emphasis on practical applications , especially in area like physics , chemistry and mathematics which allign weell with my career goal . The curriculum is structured to provide a strong foundation in theory while also preparing us for real world application , making it an excellent choice for both job readiness and further studies . In terms for preparation for real world scenarios, the curriculum includes case studies , hands on project, internship opportunities that have helped me gain practical experience. This blend of academic and practical learning has been very effective. However, there is some room for improvement. I would suggest incorporating more recent advancement in technology would keep the course updated and relevant. As I am student of first year my exams will be scheduled from december , so I cannot say much about it . My exams are three hour long which I think would be enough for me and easy to write .

Fees and Financial Aid

For bsc non medical 1 year , total fees is 35700 . For the next two years fees will be increased by 1000 rupees . Students can get scholarships for many activities like if you are a amritdhari student or sports kota or belong to minor castes or you have above 90% in former class and many more . Overall You can say students easily get scholarship or discount on their fees .

Campus Life

4

My experience till now is vibrant and fulfilling. College have organised many functions . Each and every festival is celebrated in our collges . Recently teean was celebrated in august. Youth festival was held in November which attracted many students for participation. The college also take students to many technical fests for student's enhancement in their fields of study . The library is well stocked and have number pf books. But it needs to have more books regarding literature of different religions and countries . Library only consist books regaring to subjects . But library staff is very helpful to finding different resources. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities but it lacks in number of wifi . One will only find wifi in labs not in classrooms . Projectores are available at our college . The college offers a wide range of sports facilities. There are also regular tournaments , which encourage students to be active . Extracurricular activities are abundant with variety of items like drama and dances .

Admission

I chose this college due to my personal reasons . First , it is near to my house from other colleges therfore , it is easy to travel . Beside that it stood out due to it focus on practical learning . As a comparison with other colleges in sri muktsar sahib , it has highly educated teachers Admission process is very simple in my college. One don't require entrance exam to take admission in college . My admission process was very smooth.

Faculty

4

The faculty -to- student ratio at our college is quite balanced, allowing for more personalised interaction and guidance. Faculty members are generally approachable and maintain a healthy rapport with students, fostering an open and supportive learning environment. Some standout faculty members include anita rani , known for their engaging teaching style and depth of knowledge in physics . They make complex topics more understandable and encourage students to ask questions. Amandeep is also exceptional, particularly in the commitment to helping students succeed both academically and personally. While some faculty teachers are good at teaching but they need to make their behaviour lenient to students. The exam structure is comprehensive, covering all key areas of each course , but they are fair and designed to test understanding rather than rote learing . A small percentage of students struggle to clear all exans on their first attempt which is often due to rigorous standards set by the institution. The curriculum is set up to date and highlt relevant to current industry trend , ensuring that student gain practical and theoretical knowledge that is useful beyond college. Courses are structured well and gradually build on foundational concepts, preparing students thoroughly for careers in their chosen fields . Apart from examination, workshops are held to provide practical knowledge about the specific subjects students are studying.

Night Life

2

Students who stay at hostel are only allowed to visit college at night . Other students are ordered to leave before 6 pm . Gym are open for sports students . Cafeteria is closed at 4 pm for everyone . Its safe to roam in campus for girls especially.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty, their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

I choose this course only because it pretended online that it is cheaper than other colleges but in reality it is expensive than government colleges. Then always opt for government colleges .Also exam level is difficult and teachers didnot prepare students for this.So always prepare your mind and donot depend on teachers preparation.
