  • The vacations they give are short so hostel students can only go to there houses for few days
  • Mess found is expensive Since the college provides the mess atleast the food must be cheap for students but it is expensive

Course Curriculum Overview :

Although I don't like this curriculum as I chose Btech cybersecurity and there is not even one subject in the first semester regarding computer it's all about Physics chemistry and maths which I'm tired of studying

Internships Opportunities :

Although I don't have a thorough idea about the internship opportunities of my college it's basically like every other college and the internship is based on how well you perform during your academic year and some students get interhship in our college who perform well not every student

Placement Experience :

I heard the placements in my college are good but not sure if college provides the placements or The students on there own are looking for placements as I have heard from a senior friend he got a high paying job but it was not the college placement he looked on his own and found the placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Fees I pay for the current year is 1.8L as I have got a scholarship of 50% due to CIWGP(Children of Indian Working Gulf Parents) category basically NRI category but the fees I have to pay is 3.5L if I haven't got a scholarship. My friends who have written Jee and got admission here pays the full fees that is 3.5L

Campus Life :

Campus Life in my college is good they provide 45 mins as lunch break in which we can talk with other students go outside campus and do our own stuff. Talking about clubs my college we can enter a club from the first year itself but it is not compulsory there are many clubs based on many intresting things like films, gaming, nature etc. The infrastructure is good but one con is that the canteen is a bit far

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility of my college is far from the college as I mentioned but other than that when I came here at first the meal quality was bad like really bad but then slowly over time it improved. All the facilities are good but the fees is a bit expensive. The registration process was a bit complicated but in the end everything worked out

Admission :

I chose this college over the other colleges I applied because this college has a category where NRI students would get a 50% scholarship which many other colleges didn't had who had the course I chose and also this college has a particularly good reputation in pune

Faculty :

The faculty members in my college are good they help with studies a lot and provide many study materials also the one thing I should mention is that there is effective communication as a subject and that subject helps us overcome our fear of public speaking The structure is for first year I have Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Chemistry and Linear algebra and differential calculus don't know about the second semester

Night Life :

The night life around my college is bad since I am in a hostel the last bus to my hostel is at 6:30 since the hostel is far from the college but not considering my situation other ways also it is bad as there is no students and there is no particular things to do nearby our college at night

Other Applied Colleges

SRM Institute of Science and Technology - [SRMIST] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Cyber Security)

I didn't get admission in the college but I got admission In this college that's why I chose mit wpu

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
