Overview of Raisoni through my perspective

Dislikes

  • Campus is very small not much of space less infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview :

As electric vehicles are on the rise so I decided to choose mechanical engineering as it covers the automobile sector and helps better understand the working of the vehicle. With theoretical knowledge we are briefed of the real life problems regarding the topic by our teachers which helps us understand the need for studying the particular topic to counter real life problems. Can include more advance methods of working such as AI which is on the rise.

Internships Opportunities :

All the companies offering jobs offer internship opportunities as well with a stipend of upto 25000 They have a devised programme for internships Even students with no knowledge of the field can join internship and learn and qualify for job he/she didn't specialize in.

Placement Experience :

From 5th Semester students can apply for campus placement but are placed only after completing their degree. Campgemini, Cognizant,Tcs are among the prominent companies offering jobs Highest package offered up till now is of 800000. 30 percent of students applying get placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid 90000 each year with scholarship of 60000 per year of Hindu minority. Tution fees is around 50000, caution fees is 5000, registration fees is 1500 , admission fees 2500 , development fees 20000 , lab fees 15000. This varies for different scholarships.

Campus Life :

Parakaram and antaragini are the two prominent events held in our college from January to February. Parakram is the sports event while antaragini involves singing, dancing, fashion show and other events. NSS is a club you can be part of in our college which organises many events.

Admission :

The main reason I choose this college over others was as it supported me in my cricketing career. There are ways to get admission in my college One is through cap round and other is through management round MH cet is a prominent exam given by students to get admission Jee is also considered for admission.

Faculty :

Faculties are available throughout the college hours for students and are ready to guide the students regarding all matters. There is around 2-3 faculty present for a single subject which makes it a lot easier for students to get there queries resolved. Yogesh Nadanwar Sir,Vivek Khond Sir,Vinod Bhaiswar Sir,Laukik Raut Sir are among the top faculties in the mechanical department. They have good hold in the subjects they teach and understand students difficulties if any. There are two end semester exams in a year and four Class assessment throughout the year,2 in each Semester, and Two Tae with respect to the topics present in the subjects which helps to understand the topic well. Cae and tae are for internal marks Barring theory exams practical exams are also taken each Semester.

Night Life :

Cafeteria and library are the hotspots during free lectures some even visit the gyms Campus opens at around 9am and students can be in campus till 10pm with permission from faculties . Mostly students taking part in competition stay in college late for their respective work The locality is safe as there are a lot of colleges around also it is a residential place

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
