Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to opt for Cloud Computing as I used google photos and drive before joining so I wanted to grow myself in the field where I can do it for myself. Course curriculum prepares one very well through thorough guidance of faculty on the specific subject with theoretical and practical knowledge. First internal were help after a month of semester starting, then a month later second internal then a month later External (mid sem exam), then a month later third internal then after a month fourth internal and then before the ending of semester we had our External exam ( end sem exam). This distribution of exams and time in between these exams helped me get ready for every exam.

Internships Opportunities :

I did internship with Phameasy in developing their application which helped me learn and grow and I got a stipend of ?10000/- We were assigned with different projects per semester to show our learnings and understanding of the course.

Placement Experience :

From 4th semester students become eligible for internships and in 6th semester they can appear in campus placement drivers. Around 20 companies visited for placements and made around 500 offers including all courses. Highest package offered was of ?2500000/- and average package were of ?700000/- 60% of students got placed. I'm willing to study further more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My fees year wise for my course of Btech in Computer Science specialised in Cloud computing and Information Technology was ?145000/-(tution fees). Caution fees was ?5000/- which was refundable. Registration and admission fees were around ?20000/-. There was fees for filling the examination form which was ?500/-, and same amount of fees was taken if anyone had failed and wants to reappear in the exam. My hostel fees yearly was ?70000/- which included Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner with different menu of every week day. Scholarship were available for the candidates applying from other states was around ?100000/- , and financial aid was provided too.

Campus Life :

Lakshya was the annual fest held around January or February, also freshers were also organised in the month of July or August. A wide range of books were available for each course and of different authors too. Library also had many thesis, research papers, published papers, and it was so easy to get the books issued through out student id cards. Student Council is the group of students holding different positions which has many clubs like Sports, Dance and Music, and many more, which encourage students to come of out of their comfort zone and grow themselves in other curricular areas.

Hostel Facilities :

I opted for in campus hostel, there were three types of rooms AC, FAN, Ducted coolers. Prices very for every room. Every room had 2 beds, 2 cupboards and 2 study tables. 4 meals were provided in the mess and had different menu for each day with good quality food.

Admission :

I also applied in J.K. Laxmipath College and got a confirm admission call from there but I didn't choose that college coz my desired specialisation course was not available there. Admission process was very sorted in my college, firstly everything was briefly explained about the college and course via HOD and then we were asked to visit and see college after that about the eligibility it was very easy in my case as I had PCM in my +2 so I was eligible for the course of Btech. I had to appear for the enterance exam and also the percentage of +2 mattered because it had like min. 50% in +2, so it was so easy for me to get my admission done.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio was 2:8. Faculty members were strict and frank at the same time to understand the student and help them. They were available after the college hours too to help students. I liked Ravi Godara sir the most as he was the HOD of my department, he helped everyone in maintaining their GPA and to giving life learnings. There was no faculty member that I didn't liked, coz all the teachers were very helpful and understanding in every was possible. There were 4 internal exams and 2 external exams excluding project per semester. Least number of students failed coz the classes were so fun loving and teachers helped everyone to learn at least something.

Night Life :

Hostels had in timings for girls for their safety and security, it was 8pm for girls to enter the college campus and 11pm for girls to enter in hostel. Center park in campus was the place where many memories were cherished for life. After 11pm girls were not allowed to go outside the hostel and roam around in university campus.

Other Applied Colleges

JECRC University - [JU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Data Science)

It didn’t have the course I wanted to go for.
