- The infrastructure of the college is nice and clean.
- There is strict discipline in college and the there is no ragging of any form.
Dislikes
- The schedule is very hectic and we don't get much time for ourselves.
- There is no Saturday holiday in first year of b.tech which makes it more hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose b.tech in information technology because I like to do coding but there is little to no coding in first year . We only study c language in first year and the rest of the subjects are irrelevant. There is technical training from second year which makes us industry ready which is very beneficial. They could make the schedule less hectic and more open. We take our internal exams every two to three weeks.
Internships Opportunities :
There are few internship opportunities given in third and fourth year but it is very difficult to get them as the requirements are very tough like 9cgpa etc. Companies like palo alto, Intel and many other companies give internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
The one thing good in this college is placement. The students become eligible for placements from end of third year and they have to maintain atleast 75% attendance and 6cgpa to be eligible. The highest package offered on campus is 58lpa and the average is 7.5lpa. Around 50% of students get placed out of all the students in the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first year your fees as total is 161300 Out of which 20000 is given to aktu university. For second year fees is 150800. For third year fees is 150800. Fir fourth year fees is 150800. The fees is currently same for for all senior years of b.tech, does not matter which branch. Students can avail for up scholarship if they have an income certificate and get upto 55000 every year.
Campus Life :
The college life in gl Bajaj is not much good as students don't get much time for their extracurricular activities. In terms of sports do not come to this college, there are close to zero sporting events. The clouds of college are ok but they focus more on coding competitions. The Library is air conditioned and the no. Of books available is vast and diverse.
Admission :
I applied for galgotias university other than gl Bajaj but I chose gl Bajaj because the discipline here is very good and the children are serious about their studies. They provide best placements as compared to other colleges in greater Noida. I sat for aktu counseling to get admission in gl Bajaj but you can also get direct admission by contacting college.
Faculty :
The faculty to students ratio is around 1:30 and the faculty is very approachable and they help you with whatever problem you have. They know enough about their subject to help you with any academic doubts. The HOD of IT department is very strict which makes the survival in IT department very tough . For exams there are total three internals and one university exam. There is ST1(sessional test 1) ST2(sessional test 2) PUT (pre university test) as internal exams. Students are detained if they fail to maintain 75% attendance and the exams are moderate in terms of difficulty.
Night Life :
The nightlife is a big no in greater Noida as it is not safe for students to go out at night. There is one evening hangout near college named paintra. There are various canteens in college which provide food at reasonable prices.
