Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course is very much relevant to the current industry scenarios. The faculties are giving the training of those relevant topics and situations that will be helpful for us in the industry. The course economics and management is very diverse course. It has a lot of aspects. Management, Analyst, Operations, Marketing, and a lot of profiles are suitable for the students of this course.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships are available in this college. This college is known for its placement opportunities. The main attraction point of this institute is placemnets. So, various kinds of opportunities are there for the students. Although we are the first batch of the M.Sc. many of us already got the internships.

Placement Experience

5

In M.Sc. after the 1st year, the students are allowed to do internships. We are the first batch of the M.Sc. programs so there are no official records for the placements. But most of us have been doing internships till now. The placement records for the B.Tech and M.Tech are very high. They have a mean package of 30 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester-wise fee for my course is nearly Rs. 57000. There are 2 semesters per year. This course is for 2 years. All kinds of fees are included in that 57000. But there are hostel fees of Rs. 3000 and mess fees of Rs. 15000. These fee structures is suitable for all the categories of students. There are various kinds of scholarships are available in this institute. As for the local state student, there is a scholarship offered by the UP government itself. Other than that there are National Scholarship Program by the Education Ministry of India for PG students. But this NSP is a completely merit-based scholarship program.

Campus Life

4

The college life is good here. there are so many things to do in the college. There are sports facilities available in the college. The gym is available. A fully equipped library is available with a good collection of books. There are so many fests in the college like the cultural fest Inspire, the technical fest, and the sports fest INFINITO. There are also a lot of active social clubs for dancing, literature, singing, photography etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is available here. But they are not the conventional hostels. Although the girls have the proper hostels. The Mess food is very average. Only the veg option is available here. So, there is a massive problem for the non-vegetarian students. The registration process for the hostels is dependent on availability. But there are PGs available in the Gomtinagar area around the college.

Admission

The admission process in this college is completely dependent on the IIT JAM examination. This is an all-India examination. Ive cleared this examination in the mathematics paper. Then I have a lot of options for other national institutes like NITs and DIET. But I've opted for this college for the industry exposure. This college is at the top among the IIITs across India. Its growing rate is more than many of the reputed IITs and NITs. To enter this college you have to clear the IIT JAM examination with a decent rank. then you have to register in the CCMN counseling portal. Then after the completion of the whole counseling process, you can get the chance to be admitted to this esteemed institution.

Faculty

5

There is a 1:5 faculty-to-student ratio for our M.Sc. programs. The relationship with the faculties is healthy here. The faculties are really helpful. and knowledgeable. Dr. (CA) Varun Sharma is one of the faculty members I want to mention. He is just one of a kind. He has a versatile knowledge in various fields. Apart from academic help, he is open to any kind of support for the students. There are no faculties that we can hate. Every faculty member is really good and respected here. They are just like the faculty member of an institute of national importance. They are very much justifying their names. There are a total of 4-semester exams. If you study throughout the year you can easily clear the exams. Apart from that there are some internal exams and class quizzes. Overall the course curriculum is very much relevant to industry 4.0. All the students of this course are very capable of having success in the current industry scenario.

Night Life

3

Nightlife is good on campus. There are many places around Lucknow to visit. there are several parks to visit. There are two massive malls where the students can hang out. But there is no cafeteria in the campus. Also the timings for the hostels Is up to the 11 PM of the night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Msc.Biotechnology is a good course. The laboratory aspect has pushed me a bit to make the decision. Curriculum makes us academically good but not good for real world. College laboratory needs improvement in terms of installation of proper laboratory equipments. Teaching skills & class control methods needs improvement. Teaching should be made more industry based and practical based. Exam pattern is good, not very easy to pass, have to work hard to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a postgraduate course so I took admitted to this course because I want to become a lecturer (Professor). So after doing this I want to pursue a doctorate degree. Teacher student ratio in this course is 1:60 In this college, there are both permanent faculty and guest faculty. Permanent faculty has better teaching skills than the guest faculty because the majority of them are students who pursue doctorate degrees under the guidance of this college's Professors. They generally lack experience. The teaching method is excellent for permanent faculty. Exams are held timely. One is held in the month of December and the other in May. There are four semesters in this course. The paper level is difficult. One needs a descriptive knowledge of the subject to score good marks in examinations. Previous year papers can provide a lot of help.
