Remarks :
The st.Berchman's college is a great place to be their as a thirsty student on their respective career. The college is an arts and science college which is one of the leading colleges in Kerala which holds great academic results along with cultural winnings also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
St.Berchman's college is an autonomous college which follow MG University on it's exam structures.BCA department consist of 150 students with 50 students in each year. Specialist computer teachers tooks the core courses. There is 6 semester exams and 12 internal exams.
Placement Experience :
There is a lot of companies hiring from our college. 20 students in our class got placed in Infosys including myself. About 30 of students got placed from our class in the overall placements.Internship is not provided directly by college.
College Events :
The main event is the college day celebrated at the end of each even semesters. The union arranged union day programs. Onam and Christmas celebrations are conducted.Farewells are conducted for students and faculty. Fresher's day is celebrated and there is some other events too.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The college holds a feasible fee structure.BCA is a self finance stream in our college and the semester fee is about 20000 for each sem. The aided students have a less expensive fee structure compared to other.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college offers some scholarships for the students who are eligible for the respective scholarships. The college gives faculty for the smooth functioning of the scholarship of reaching the students.
Campus Life :
The labs provided by the college holds great standard and quality.They are well occupied by the utensils needed for the respective labs. As a BCA student I am very much satisfied with the computer lab.The college gives great opportunity for sports and athletics winning various championships also and providing sports hostels too.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't actually opted for hostel but my close friends are some hostellers.It is known from them that the facilities offered by the hostel infrastructure is quite good for the students and they can handle the hostel fee also.There are various even for the hostellers in the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumini network and the senior students are so helpful in our college.They all are ready to hear our doubts and clarify it as good as they can. They give ideas on different topics and share their experiences also which are so valuable for as for our smooth learning process.
Faculty :
The faculty holds great standard with specialist teachers in all departments who are well qualified and are efficient in their teaching profession. They hold good communication with students and are helpful.
