College has the best faculties and also the best classes and labs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I love shocks and for being master of that electrical engineering is the only option that I wanted to pursue. Our course not just teaches us fundamentals of electrical engineering but it also teaches us designing too.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 68000 per year

Placement Experience :

Accenture, TCS, IBM, Wirpo and various other top companies have seen IIEST Shibpur to be the best talent pool. Average placements are going up and average placements numbers are also heading towards the sky. My plans post degree is to pursue MBA as technical knowledge along with financial knowledge is what helps in making a man who can survive in this competitive world.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The most reasonable college on the planet is IIEST Shibpur with a fees of just 68000 a year. Facilities are better than Jadavpur or for that matter top private universities like Techno India or Sister Nivedita University.

Campus Life :

112 acres long campus is biggest in Howrah. Kolkata is known for colleges and universities with huge campuses but still ours is the biggest. Recently we had our tech fest INSTRUO and in few months time we will be hosting our annual cultural program called REBECA.

Admission :

State entrance test is the one and the only way to our college. There's not a single seat awarded through recommendation as our college is quite strict. So admissions are only and only to the ones who qualify on merit.

Faculty :

Faculties are too good as all of them are someone who have n number of published research papers in their names. Our faculties set the toughest papers as they don't like mongering and they make sure they only set the papers based on what has been taught. So, if one pays attention to them, they will find it easy otherwise God save them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. Exams are scheduledd but may prove to need extra assistane for comprehension of some of the contents.

The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
