Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was not my first preference but i have grown to like it a little This course is honestly quiet interesting It provides indian literature european and really insightful poems One of the plays that i have read in this course was really good and fun to read One of the improvements i would suggest specifically in my college for this course would be that some of the teachers are not good at explaining the novels and are quiet fast with their reading and very vague Not given any exams yet so can't speak on that
Internships Opportunities :
I am not completely aware of the internship population provided at my college as i recently got enrollled but as far as i know there aren't many opportunities specially for first year students but again i am not completely sure
Placement Experience :
There are a few on campus placements in my college but it is not that great and i am not aware of the placements as such right now Personally i am planning to go for an an mba after i complete my course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for my specific course (english hons) was 19000 (i am in aryabhatta college btw) And i am not completely sure if it will be increasing or not And as far as i know there is no scholarship available at my university in my course
Campus Life :
The delhi university as a whole has a lot of fests held throughout the year But talking about my college which is aryabhatta We have a fests as well but not as great as the ones that are held in north campus The facilities at my college are average they do provide laptops to the students The library is decent too We have a projector in our class We have a really big ground in our college making it perfect for extracurriculars And a range of sports are offered in my college for both boys and girls Coming to the clubs The societies in my college are pretty interesting We have a drama society photography society music society dance society e cell a podcast society and much more and they are all very welcoming
Admission :
I applied to narsee monjee and flames and i got into both of them But i always wanted to go to DU since it was closer to home ,the degree is more valuable obviously I did not get rejected into any colleges i applied to but i did not get the course of my choice which was psychology I believe it is a course whose cut off it quiet high and my score was not at par with it The admission process into DU is by giving an exam called the CUET The cut off for most colleges is quiet high
Faculty :
as far as i have interacted with the faculty there are not as helpful as i expected them to be Some teachers are really sweet but others not so much In english hons there are a few teachers that are helpful but quiet strict I havent given any exams yet but have given a few class tests which have been pretty easy for me till now
