  • The sports ground could be a bit more cleaner. Also courts for sports like badminton should be made.
  • The schedule is a bit packed, which in some cases causes stress and tension.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum prepares us for the real world by providing practicals along with theory. There are 3 lab hours two days in a week. And projects, assignment are also assigned to the students so as to apply the knowledge they ahev recieved through theory classes. The exams are planned effectively. The exams have ameeium difficulty level.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies that students go for internship are decided by the students themselves. The approval for the internships are provided by the college. It could be any company like FACT, COCHN REFINERY, PWD, KSEB etc.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 4th year onwards The companies that visit us are Amazon, ibm, Infosys, tcs, Wipro etc. Tye highest package comes upto 5.2 LPA and the average package is upto 2 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The year wise fees I am paying is ?93000. The tution fees is 75000 with an additional 18000 as special fees in which the fees of the lab, sports, placement facilities are alla included which makes a total of 93000 An initial deposit of 10000 is to be made for booking the seat and as caution fees. Other compulsary charges include exam registration fees. Almost 430 for one paper. Scholarships are included based on the percentage secured in 12th grade or the percentage secured in KEAM exam. The GEORGE MATHEW SCHOLARSHIP FUND is provided for students with low financial status based on their overall performance in academics.

Campus Life :

There are mainly two fests held in our college The first being KIREEDAM held mostly on June and the Second is RASAM held on november-december. The facilities provided int je classroom are a projector for smart class. The sports and extra curricular activites are conducted in a good way There are many clubs that are formed like dance club, music club, wellness club etc.

Admission :

I chose this College mainly because it was near to my home with just a difference of 3 km. The other reasons are the infrastructure of the college, the clean atmosphere it provides, the good behaviour of the faculties and all other staff. The eligibility criteria for admission here is 45% percent marks in KEAM exam.

Faculty :

The Faculty to student relationship are very good. The faculties are very approachable for anything be it academics sports or anything personal. All the faculties of every each and every department are very friendly with the students and are not biased. There are a total of 3 exams conducted in each semester. They are the first series examination, the second series examination and the end-semester exam conducted by KTU. Other than these exams class tests or weekly tests are conducted to evaluate the students' progress. The number of students that fail to clear the exams are minimal and it happens mostly because of the students' negligence. The course curriculum is very effective. Everything is planned perfectly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very old and must be improved to be on par with the ever expanding new technologies. I took this course, since I have a passion in programming. But there are various subjects which are minimal to no - relevant towards my department, which is IT. Chemistry, Chemistry Lab, Physics, Physics lab, Maths ( even though some parts of maths and physics is needed, it can be joined with the other programming subjects so that only things that are specifically necessary are being teached and both, being a seperate subject is unnecessary ), Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical, Civil, Mech Lab, Civil Lab, and all other non-credit subjects ( if there is no credit, why studying ? ). And can include more subjects revolving around various programming languages such as, C++, C#, Kotlin, React, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really love automobiles, that was the main reason behind my decision to opt for mechanical engineering. Most of the aspects about machines and engis where covered as part of the subject. One who want to learn more about a subject has the opportunity to opt for minor in that subject.

Actualy EEE is very tough compared to other course but EEE has good oppertunities compared to other courses in future and also in present, teaching method shuld need to improve because dregee students should need to learn more about pratical more than theory.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered here but for now its really bad. College have a placement cell. Usually a lot of company used to come and take 100s of graduates. This year hits different. Placements were really bad this year. Avg package provided is also low. RS 5.5LPA was the highest and 4 LPA is the avg salary for placed students.

It is a very pleasant and convenient place to complete ones engineering graduation. They provide excellent facilities wether it is in the form of good staffs or lab and other allied facilities. This all combined helps one to experience their engineering life in a much happier and hassle free manner.
