Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I opted for is Ba. Hons. Geography. I opted for this course as I always wanted to learn more about our environment and the world. My interest in learning about the environment and the ancient world made me opt for this particular course. The teachers of my course make it more interesting for the students to study and learn. Their teaching method is always top notch.
Internships Opportunities :
Lovely professional university provides the opportunities for various internships in various courses. In social sciences Departmnet students are given the opportunity to explore various internships and learn more about their specific course.
Placement Experience :
The course I am pursuing is Ba. Hons. Geography. After doing this particular course there are no special placements or job opportunities; one will surely have to pursue masters after this course to find a suitable job with a good earning. As per my choice I will be pursuing masters after completion of this course which will help me find a good job. The placements in other courses are really good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course I opted for is Ba. Hons. Geography. The fees varies for each student, as some get scholarships based on their boards results or CUET score. I was delighted to get a scholarship of 17% through my boards result. The total coast for my course varies from 2.5 lakhs to 3.00 lakhs per year. For my hostel I payed 1.05 lakhs in a three seater AC room.
Campus Life :
The over all campus life is a 5/5. The students are given free will to participate in various functions and cultural events. A lot of events are held in this college, the students here enjoy participating in such activities. One can see a new level of cultural diversity in this college, as students from various countries step here to educate themselves. A lot of clubs are there for the students to participate in. Mental health is also given importance in this college, the students are not over burdened.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are really good. The rooms are well maintained and are cleaned often by the cleaning lady. The acs are well working and makes the student feel at home. Mess provides really good food for the hostlers. The wardens are really friendly and are always ready to help the students whenever in need. The hostels are not that affordable but are really good if one is looking for a clean and neat place to stay in.
Admission :
Lovely Professional University is a really prestigious private university. It has been ranked really well all over Asia. As per today it ranks as the 10th best private university in Asia. Due to its undying prestigious image and top notch faculty I chose this university over the others. Social sciences department has a really good faculty which made me more interested in this university. Lovely Professional University has always been known for is social sciences Departmnet.
Faculty :
Students from various countries can be seen in social sciences department. Student- faculty ratio can be mentioned as 50:1. The faculty here is really helpful and loving and they're always ready to help you and fetch a hand when in need. Faculty in the social sciences department is one of a the best and always makes in feel at home. The students are taught really well and are also prepared for the exams at a good speed. Exams here have a good level of difficulty and provide you with much more understanding and problem solving skills. Students don't usually fail in exams but can fail if they get a back due to various reasons. One of the main reasons why students get a back is because of their low attendance percentage. Attendance percentage is given huge importance in this university.
