The campus area is less. Evening classes and timetable issues for BA students.
No doubt hostel has all facilities but the fee is bit expensive

Course Curriculum Overview :

The mid semester exam is for an hours whereas end semester is for 3 hours. The curriculum need to be updated in terms of income tax and accounts particularly as everything now is digital. The real life exposure is provided through clubs.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are for 5th and 6th semester students. Delloite and ICICI bank are the top companies and many local companies also visit. Average package of 5 lakhs. Most of the students gets placed but many of them do not join because of further higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For session 2023-24 the course fee for bcom hond was round off 36000. The fee gets revised each year by around 2000. There are various scholarship also available like merit cum mean, Scholarship from Jammu state Etc.

Campus Life :

Many events are condusted mostly very month or two like youth fest, Mun, tech fest, sports fest etc. Ncc and Nss are also available. Many clubs like Vada club, Rotract,Enactus and Adarsh foundation ngo. Social events such as blood donation camp and Swatch Bharat conducted. Overall my college experience was very memorable and has a great positive impact on my life. I learnt how to deal with people

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel has both Ac as well as non Ac rooms. Wifi is also provided. The quality of food is also good. Sweat dish is provided at night and fruits in the morning along with milk and tea. Hostel is to be applied online, 1st come 1st serve.

Hostel Fee : INR 130000 per year

Admission :

I got confirmed admission in MCM DAV as well but i choose Ggdsd college because it is coed. For admission to undergraduate courses the application is to be applied at dhe site and then fill the college prefercences. Once the application is approved you get email. At my time the admission for bcom was solely on merit basis

Faculty :

The faculities are highly approachable besides curriculum also. They are helping by nature. My personal favourite is Ms Arvudha Mehta. She used to teach us Stats. She is highly knowledgeable and dicusses real life opportunities as well. The exams are conducted twice i.e MST and End semester exam. Mostly students pass them. The curriculum is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh.

I want to study outside Punjab. So i fill form for admission in Panjab University. There was counseling and i got admission in this college. Also it was near my PG. So i decided to get admission here.

Well renouned College for Commerce

Remarks:

To sum up. The College doesn't has a big campus, but the faculty and teaching is good. The College may not be very new and advanced but the atmosphere is very good. I haven't seen or experienced any case of ragging. I would recommend the college for commerce, if you don't get admission at the Delhi University.

Great memories

Entrance Preview:

It was centralized admission, conducted by the Panjab university for the b.com students. The admission was based totally on merit and then counselling was done and i got the admission.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job opportunities are their but the salary package which is offered to b.com students is not good. IBM company came for hiring in BPO's and the salary package was just rs.120000 p.a. Other companies also came in job fest like domino's, vodafone etc. But i did not go their because of the low salary package.
