Course Curriculum Overview :
I rate four stars to the course curriculum. Because it is very hard curriculum given by the periyar University. To know about the literature and the topic have been very interested. So, I have choosen this course. In our course we have best teaching. So, Don't worry about anything. The frequency of exams are 90 working days.
Internships Opportunities :
SWDeTimes of India, Daily Thandhi, TATA Consultancy Services are some of the internship opportunities with our college. The roles for us were, consumer care call attender, Typewriter, Story writer, News reporter and etc.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placement is 90% pass percentage. TCS, TIMES OF INDIA are some of the recruiters and recruited 15 students in the past year. The lowest package is 2.4L per annum. Abd the Highest package is 12L per annum. 50% of students who have scored about 75% marks were placed in the past year. I have planned to pursue a B.Ed degree to become a teacher.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
?In the first year we pay the fees of 3485 for PARENTS AND TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (1000), Admission fee (2250), and other fee for ID card , placements etc.,(285). ? There is no tuition fee collected from the students. ? Some of the students are getting TAMIZHPUDHALVAN scholarship (?1000/month) which is majorly given for the Boys who are studied in Tamil Nadu State Board schools from 6 TO 12. ? Some of the students are getting SC ST scholarship from Government students who are under the Economically Weak Section families. ? Some of them are getting PUDHUMAIPPEN scholarship (?1000/month) which is majorly given for the Girls who are studied in Tamil Nadu State Board schools from 6 TO 12.
Campus Life :
Mostly Our department doesn't conduct any festivals and Events and Cultural activities. So Don't expect these and all. If you expect these within the college, you may choose the Political science department. Inside our college we have a Library, Discipline and Neat Canteen. Near our college we have a District library. In the Library we have a lot of books to read.We have NCC, NSS, RRC, LITERARY, BLOOD DONATION clubs. Admission :
I chosen this college because it collects low fee from students and it was the 2nd nearest college to me. Other colleges are about 20km distance from my home. So It is an tough task to reach college by ontime by using our buses/trains. In other colleges except government colleges, all colleges are collecting more fee which is unplayable by me. The admission process of our college is An website will open by the government. In that website you need to apply for the colleges and course whatever you want to choose. Then, from the college they will call you for counselling. You must pay the fee whenever you have got your seat. If you not pay the fee at that spot you will lose your seat. In other colleges I didn't get a confirmed seat and I didn't have any rejection at any other colleges. There is no entrance exam conducted by the college. You must have an average eligible cutoff of 200/400.
Faculty :
The ratio of the students is 1:6 (8 faculties for 48 students). The best faculty is our HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT. Because he give the notes for every topic and he is best staff speaking with us friendly. Some of the staffs behave rude with the students. There are 3 exams inbetween a term exam. They are 1st internal test, 2nd internal test and a Model Examination before the semester.
