Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is well planned and prepared. The structure of the entire course and subjects kept in each semester is extremely good as the next semester builds up based on the previous on and that is credited to the way in which syllabus is crafted

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Year wise fees : Sem 1 + Sem 2 = 180,000 INR There will be a lot of miscellaneous fees but that will be quite low Batchmates also have the same fee except for the people who have joined via NRI quota. The NRI quota fee will be double the amount of a normal student for every billing. Scholorships are not available as this

Campus Life :

In a holistic view, i would say i enjoyed my time in Sastra as the campus is very good , huge and a lot of canteens to spend time with friends. Other social aspects including clubs. There is no limit to the variety of clubs present to improve one's skills they which

Admission :

I was attracted towards this college for multiple reasons. I would say this college is good based on academics, attitude towards academic life and the discipline which they preach. SOme of the reasons i wouldn't encourage people to join this college are Hostel accomodation , mess food , etc which is extremely bad

Faculty :

The faculty are very approachable and friendly. I dont want to name staff but they are extremely helpful. Some faculties i dont prefer are due to the reasons they provide marks without fairness and treat students as per region they come from

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

The placements are good but the college will not give guarantee that there is 100% placements if there is 100 % placements it might be good because getting good placements in lot of people is hard in other colleges the strength is less and getting chance is more

There are so many core companies coming to the college. The students who have that eligibility can surely enter into a good company. If you haven't placed anywhere you can also join very good companies with high packages.

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
