  • The thing i don't like about the college is its location....its very far from the metro station. It will take around 20-30mins to reach college from the metro station. The area near college is that of industrial area where you might not find any good
  • Outlet for food or anything unlike other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since i am a CA student i haven't participated in extra curriculum activities. But my friends were part of them So we have different societies in our college like dance ,music, NCC etc. The only flaw i found is taxation faculty...you have to study that subject by yourself. So exams usually happens in the month of may and December. Each exam has holiday for 3 to 5days so you have enough time to prepare. Every exams start at 2pm and ends at 5pm. If you study well this much time is enough for you to attempt 6 questions. The difficulty level of exam doesn't depend upon college since it has been set by DU BOARD OF EXAMINATION.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I Have paid around RS. 38000 for my course(b.com prog) that is for RS. 12000 for each year. But now it has been increased to RS. 14000 for a year. Apart from tution fees...i have paid examination fees of RS 510 for each semester in all three years. Since i am from general category i have paid fees as illustrated above. Fees may vary from category to category....if you are from EWS you may have to pay less fees. The students who have scored good can get scholarships too they might have to fill a scholarship form accordingly and have to submit the form at the counter of the college which is in new campus.

Campus Life :

Since i am CA student i haven't took part i annual fest and all but we have societies who take part and in fest you can find alot of food, games etc i thinks it was held once in a year . The liberary of our college is not so big but not that small it is of medium sign and you can get enough books from there. Other than this you can be a part of societies like dance ,music ,NCC etc. You can get into games and can play tournaments fromour college.

Admission :

I have applied in shyaam lal too but it was offering evening shift in which i can't take admission. After that i have face rejection in some colleges too because i am from general category and the cut off of general category was quiet high. The admission process is very easy you only have to apple online and now i think students have to clear entrance examination. At my time it was on merit basis that 12th percentage. But now you have give entrance paper if not you only have to apply online at du site. If your application is selected you have pay fees of first year and submit documents at the college accordingly.

Faculty :

The faculty is good and supportive. And is approachable too, you don't have to worry about the teachers. They are quiet friendly in nature. So there are total 24 exams each sem has 4 exams, there are total 3 years having 2 semester each. And so 6semester × 4exams =24 exams you have to give.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was interested in commerce subjects, thus I opted for B.com. 2. The course curriculum in college are mostly practical which is used in real life for example, tally or excel. 3. every week a vestibule job class should be given. 4. Paper is a bit lengthy in respect of time given which is 3 hrs, difficulty level is Moderate.

Placement Experience:

Yes, Campus Placement is there in the college but it's not more then 5-6 lakhs. For placement marks doesn't matters much but your skills matters. So, You have to study hard and definitely have some great skills to survive in this competitive world. As it's a girls college, Many of the girls settle in their lives as held in an Indian family, and most of the girls also go for higher studies after their graduation from the college. And the rest go for Jobs in the corporate sector as well as govt. sector. If talking about me I will go for job then do my MBA after that my own business. I am not going for the placement from college.

Remarks:

My main reason why I choose this college was that the campus and the crowd of this college is really good. Also the best part about cvs is that all the sports teams are excellent and they have a good number of societies to be a part of and be involved in extra activities as well, rather than only studies. The stuff and security system is great. CVS also have additional vocational courses and language courses which is a plus point because they provide us with the best studying material.
