Quick look into MEC!!!

Dislikes

  • The college doesn't have much fund as it is a Government college, thus making it hard to conduct events.
  • The space the college infrastructure holds is less.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The decision to choose Electronics and Biomedical Engineering was that I believe it is a field with lot of scope to work and research on.I feel like the current syllabus of the curriculum does not prepare students much for Industrial application and I feel a change is necessary in that field. Some suggestions that I would like to give about the same is including industrial and hands on experience for the same. Exams are conducted on a regular basis with proper marking schemes. The answer papers are corrected by the faculty and given to the students for their development.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college fees I pay is about 40000 per year since I am alloted in the management category. The course fees that adds to the same is about 3000rs which includes the other charges too. My classmates do pay 80000 per year and one or two doesn't have to pay the fees.

Campus Life :

My overall experience with campus life has been vibrant and fulfilling, with a balanced mix of academic rigor and social engagement. Here's how I'd describe it in terms of social aspects, club involvement, and infrastructure: The annual tech fest of the college is Excel and are usually held by the year end that is December mostly. Our college has an incredible library with a lot of books. There are a lot of clubs our college hosts, the prominent ones being IEEE, IEDC, NSS, FOSS, MUN, YUVA.

Admission :

Choosing a college is a significant decision, and comparing different institutions on various parameters can shed light on why a particular choice was made. Here's a sample structure for how someone might respond to such a question, along with a comparison of various factors and reflections on the admission process. The academic reputation, campus facilities, the location , campus life and scholarship and the vast connections the college provide. I happen to apply to just this college and owing to m great rank I did get admission here. Admissions are truly based on the kerala entrance ranks

Faculty :

I am a student of the Electronics and Biomedical department of Government Model Engineering College and I happen to have a great experience with the teachers and faculty. The strength in my class is about 70 and the faculty in the department ranges about 20 staffs. We do have 2 series exams prior to the main University exam. Also an internal lab exam is conducted prior to the external lab exam. The teachers I like the most in my department is Mrs. Jessy John. She is an extremely talented teacher and excels herself in the field.Exams are not that difficult as questions are from what the teachers already taught.

Other Applied Colleges

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research - [IISER] | Bachelor of Science [BS] + Master of Science [MS]

Since My parents didn't want me to continue on the field of research

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I have Jee mains exam in 2024 . I attended the JCECEB counseling, I got this college first I thought will this college be suitable for me , but when I came here I think that I am satisfied. I choose Electrical branch here . As I mentioned the course BEE and PPS. also helping us from the starting to get a better way to understand the course , means what is it all about . In my opinion the classes should be for much long duration as for now it's around 1.2 hours per class as per the routine, so according to me Classes duration should extend. As talked from the seniors I got to know that the difficulty level of exams are quite moderate , means the students who have studied for the exams will. Not find any difficulty bin scoring good , also most of the questions are repetitive.

Placement Experience:

There are over 800 placements everyyear we get from this college it's quite well we get the placement traning too for it, people at first may learn little low which could discourage me aa a student l, but believing that later on after gaining much more experience I could get the best One helpled me to stick on to this college palacement.if I don't get the deserved placement as well I would look for the gate exam by which I could countinue my education there with good standards..
