Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chose mathematics hons. as i was very fond of maths and i had heard that Kamala Nehru College faculty very much dedicated towards their students. This was the one reason. Our teachers used to constantly motivate for our academics and also guided us for the other maths exams to make career in mathematics. But I think the teachers should not make the timetable too hectic for the students, like they used to teach us till 6 in the evening. The timings of the exams were accordingly matched to the difficulty level of the paper, Like a student can easily complete his/her exam within the stipulated time.

Internships Opportunities :

When any of the inernship opportunity came in the college it is circulated to all the students through whatsapp groups. The college provide different internships in different fields like i was the the part of online ineternship in younity. In and it was 3 month duration.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the Kamala Nehru College is not very high, it is very affordable. The fees structure is 10,000 per year and additional is required to pay during exams, that is examination fee -750/-. The fee structure for the other category students was also same but might be five or 6 percent less than for the general category. College also provides many scholarship opportunities, I had been the part of Inspire scholarship and recieved 120,000 rupees in my first year based on the merit list. All the details of the scholarship are circulated among the whatsapp groups of the respective courses of the students.

Campus Life :

My overall experience in Kamala Nehru College was great. I had participated in many events and enjoyed in Winter carnival fest (one of the biggest fest of the college and it is always theme based). The library of the college is must to explore as it contains every book a student look for ranges from fictional, science, history, geo, maths, magazines, journals, wekipedias and many more. The college has RISE cell also for the students who want to do research, i had done research and my paper got publised in jruice. Like this the college provide many societies to explore like fashion society, dance society, debating, nss, ncc , natak and many more to explore and boost a student's overall growth and development.

Admission :

I had also applied for vanketeshwar, indraprashtha and hansraj. But, due to the high cutoff i couldn't make it in hansraj but i got in vankey and indrapratha, but I was happy that i chose KNC over them because this is all girls college which provides a saver and growing opportunites for girls and in south campus situated far from the crowd of delhi. One of the formost reason was NCC, kamala nehru college also provides NCC opportunities for girls who wants to develop their career in defense. And i had been the part of KNC NCC. The admission process of the at my time was online as it was covid period but for the document varification we had to go to the college a month before the starting of our academic year.

Faculty :

I was in maths dept. and in our department we have 10 teachers in total. Like this every department of KNC has enough no. of faculty. The faculty of the college ia very friendly, sometimes strict and coorporative in nature. The college faculty has the nature which is accessable by any student without any hasitation. There is no such issue of attendance but one's attendance should be above 50% to sit in the examination. We have total 6 semester in three year course and in semester there is separate exams. And also separate Internal assesment test and practicals. There is CGPA system in the college. The exams aren't very difficult if a student had studied for the whole semester consistently, though one can also pass in the examination within 5 days of study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications

Remarks:

Overall experience of college is good. It is peaceful and environment is really great. As it is a science college, students are generally more serious. Infrastructure is good.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

Admission:

After i saw the cut off list and observed that I am eligible to take admission in this college, I went to the college. Filled up the admission form and submitted to Jain sir after which my documents were verified and then i submitted my fees and that's how I got admitted in this college.
