Considering that it's government you can't expect facilities that you get in private. You need to do things on your own. There is no spoon feeding. You make yourself on your own. You learn to adjust with the environment
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mine is affiliated to gtu , we have 2 semesters in a year . we have 1 mid semester exams, one internal viva which may include practicals followed by end semester exams both theory and practical. The mid semester exams is of 30 marks and practical of 20 total of 50 is given by college. 70 marks is end semester exams and 30 is of viva at the end. Total of 150 per subject.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is active. We have a lot of companies coming in for CE it and EC. We also send students for off campus placement as well. College doesn't provide internship we need to fetch it ourselves. We need to work hard in order to get internship but college does cooperate with training and internships.
College Events :
We have nss working hard and organising events and festivals of national interest. Also we celebrate Ganesh chaturthi, Holi, navratri, Christmas. Farewell and Freshers is likea festival. Also we have our own tech fest held every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is government so it's quite feasible college fees for girls is 750 and for boys is 1500 also exam fees is about 125per subject . scholarship are also provided. There is also a tution fee waiver tfw scheme where the tution fees are waived of for students falling into min income criteria.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Under chief minister scholarship 2500 is given to the students per year for books and other educational stuff . Also tution fee waiver is there for both boys and girls.three students in each category gets this scheme. Where tution fee gets wavied off.
Campus Life :
We celebrate annual sports week where each department competes in each sports . We play badminton, chess, kabbadi, kho kho , cricket , football , baseball, basketball .each department is equipped with labs and logistics. Lab contain this generation computers.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes they're helpful. They help us in networking and building contacts. They guide us through the right path so that we don't make mistake like they did. We are all well connected through WhatsApp group and LinkedIn.
Admission :
I took admission in 2015 so we had this 60 -40 ratio 60 percent of your boards and 40 percent of jee. On the basis of this merit rank are given. You need to then apply according to the acpc.select the course and colleges of your choice.it has 3 rounds online and one mock round. The cut off for each college varies .
Faculty :
Due to reservation in the jobs in teaching and government college we can't expect faculty to be trained and well versed. Some are good in knowledge while some are below average. They don't give their 200% also attedence is not an issue here so faculty take classes according to their will. They harras students during submission and fail to do timely work.
