Remarks :
My college has shown potential growth over the time and I am very satisfied with what I get during my tenure there. I would wish that my college keeps its continuous growth.
Entrance Preview :
The admission was based on GUJ-CET exams score. I had managed to score 67 % and according to my merit, this was the best college I can find for the course that I wanted to pursue.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course Curriculum is very good. As I am currently working in IT industry I can definitely say that our course is very much helpful in our industry and it's up to date with the latest technology that is coming up in the market.It's also most relevant to what we do in our industry job. To sum up I can say that our college has industry organize course curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
It's Mixed cultural. In our college students can choose internship on their own and if they are not able to find the proper internship college will help them.The stipends again very from company to company in which you are doing the internship.
Placement Experience :
The placements were bit poor in the early phase of college but as time has passed college has managed to establish itself as one of the most reputed institutes for engineering.In the early phase, we were only interest of local startups but as we have grown over the time big tech giants like TCS, Infosys has started coming to our institute for campus placement and started providing a good package of 3-4 lacs/annum to freshers.
College Events :
Our college used to celebrate almost each and every festival in grand and unique style. from the Diwali to ram Jan every festival in our college is celebrated enthusiastically. And the great part is that faculty also takes part in it to motivate the students. apart from the regular festival, we used to tech fest and cultural fest where we collaborated with other colleges and ask them to take part in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is very less as it's government institute. Also as it's government institute they have provided scholarships for schedule casts. Other then that our college has a very big library so it helps reduces student their books cost as well.Apart from this the college also used to sponsor some good project as and when it's required and when they find it;s worth the sponsorship
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college was government college so fee was very less and as it's government they have provided scholarships for reserved cast students
Campus Life :
The gender ratio was maintained by GTU itself. so we have seats reserved for girls. The campus was huge and has dedicated grounds for every other sport.We were always encouraged by our college to take part in extracurricular activities and given chances many times to represent our college at the state level.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are very good. The room is very big with ameneties like cupboard and beds for every individual student. We have 2 share and 3 share rooms. The food was not so good and up to mark as it should be but they have maintained very good quality.
Alumni/Alumna :
They are very helpful and they helped some freshers to get placements as well. They come at regular interval for guiding the students.
Exam Structure :
We have standard exams structure that followed by every other institute, I,e one internal exam and one final exam which were held by GTU. Apart from that, we used to have Viva and practical exams. It was the very chilled out experience.Exams are held under proper guidance and safety with CCTV camera keeping eye on students.
Admission :
The Admission process is handled by GTU(Gujarat technological university). According to Marks scored in GUJ-CET exam, GTU provides merit list and based on your merit list you get to choose the college. The whole process is made online by GTU to maintain/provide transparency
Faculty :
The faculties are very good. we have professors who are very active in their domain also who focuses on practical knowledge rather than to just focus on theoretical knowledge.They are very supportive when it comes to doing the live project and also very active in placements as well.
