  • The management is still working on managing different areas of operations like finance and IT
  • The students dont have a background check before entering the college which usually results in a choas at some events.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure for MBA is very relevant and comprehensive. One can get real life experience of being a manager. There are numerous opportunities to speak, present and communicate the way a manager should.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities are available at the college but to get paid internship as a fresher is difficult. But the unpaid internships are easier to get and the knowledge is still unmatched. The internship is a 2 credit course here and w ehave to submit a report and a ppt.

Placement Experience :

The placements are good for MBA. If you are really serious about getting placed then one can get the opportunity. The student must be able to maintain their CGPA and the class performance and build relationships with good faculty memebers.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College fee for MBA is approx 850000 yearly and there are several scholarships such as domicile and for good academics and maintaining it. The hostel charges are 180000. Registration fees is neglible. The fees this year increased by 20%.

Campus Life :

There are ample of clubs to choose from, like manthan, buzz, gems and RRR. The college life is pretty cool. There are various type of fests like Uurja and spandan. Uurja is basically for students and spandan is for students and faculty.

Hostel Facilities :

My hostel is a private hostel. I dont live in the campus hostel. The registration process over here was very simple. The meal quality is good and we get 4 meals per day. The rooms are very neat and clean. We get room service and laundry also

Admission :

Firstly the real reason i chose this college is i couldnt get admission in any othee college. Plus this college offered MBA in strategy and consulting in collaboration with KPMG, that haa helped me with real life projects and experiences

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is fine. Usually if no. of students increase certain number they divide the class into batches. The faculty is totally approachable and helpful. The MBA faculty is very helpful. The exam diffculty is moderate and we get preparatory leaves. The attendance structure is strong with 75% being minimum.

Interview Experience :

There were personal interview rounds for admission after entrance. The questions during the personal interview were simple and about our life in general. The preparation for these rounds is pretty simple since they dont ask technical questions

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are great; many companies visit the institution for placements, such as Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon, Unimrkt, etc. But this year less number of companies visited the institution maybe because of recession but still a good amount of companies visited the organization.

Placement Experience:

As i told you before the placement of quantum university is Quite decent. And they are also proving an Assured placement plan which has included the following points - 1. An assured Placement with a minimum CTC package 4LPA at the time of passing out or within six months of passing out. 2. A cashback equivalent to the distance between 4lac for example if a student gets a CTC of rs 3LPA then a cashback of Rs 1Lac shall be given to the student. 3. Quantum university Defeats the uncertainties of placement that the covid times have created throughout the world.

Admission:

I wanted to do management in my PG and MBA was a logical choice. Post doing my graduation in commerce, it was good to appear for MBA entrance exams and get shortlisted in the Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee. My reason to select this place was because of the quality of faculty, the visiting faculty coming from very reputed institutes such as IIFT, FMS, Delhi School of Economics, etc. Also, the set up was a part of the University of Roorkee, a prestigious engineering institute and an institute that offers a Degree and not a Diploma for MBA. Further, the infrastructure is by far amongst the best considering that the University got the status of IIT and additional funding for its development. Also, the place, Roorkee is well connected from Delhi and some other prominent cities of India through rail and road and also offers various opportunities for excursions to Mussorie, Hardwar, Rishikesh and various other places

Entrance Preview:

For that we have to MAT exam with a food percentage after that merit list will be declared by government colleges and then they organised a counselling program for students.

Placement Experience:

Wipro, amazon, airtel, infosys. About 20,000 to 25000 they are giving and they focusses more on selecting the good quality of students who are talented and stable according to their requirements also. Many other companies came for the best one and the capable one for their companies.
