  • Students don't get exposed to life after collage, and collage need to explain about career building
  • No proper placements, only selective number of people gets placed, in my entire batch of 400 people only 5 people got placed through collage placements

Course Curriculum Overview :

Timing for exams were good but I suggest the students to be updated with the classes going on, and overall structure of the course is good before my batch it was bit unstructured but later it was fixed by interchanging the semester wise portion and pattern, overall urs easy enough for all to complete the course with proper preparation and planning

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We paid by semester wise, and it was 25000, Registration fee was 300rs No lab fee There is no consessions for categories but there is 25 % consession for categories in exam fee Exam fee was 2000 per semester and it may vary time to time Iam from category and as mentioned in tution fee there was no consession it was only in tution fee and rest was same as general Scholarships might be there for merits as I and none of my friends and classmates didn't apply for any scholarship iam not having much knowledge about scholarship

Campus Life :

Fests were all good throughout my collage time there were many tests conducted it was a great experience Library is also good, all categories of books were available and library was one of my favourite place in my collage, there were can explore a lot and it's helpful academicly as well Out collage is bit week in aspects of sports, only limited participantion and not proper exposure into sports ican say. But after our batch zumba classes were conducted for all students and collage needs to conduct any sports day once a month where all the students can explore their interest towards sports. Ncc and nss were well conducted and I suggest students to take part in any one of them

Admission :

At first I have applied for Christ University but till the time I have applied applications were closed so I chose this collage but didn't regret my decision The admission process of my collage is as follows: We need to pay 300 and apply with all our details The an online interview will be conducted and in that some course related will be asked like if you apply for any some basic questions regarding the respective course will be asked and you will be asked if you had that subject in your previous education of yes, what was your percentage in that particular subject and explain about yourself and your place, hobbies and general questions and why did you choose this course. And after that call within a day you will be notified whether you got admission or not If yes you should pay initial fee of 20 thousand and if you didn't like the course or collage and you want to withdraw you seat and fee then an amount of 10000 will be taken by the collage for the aission process.

Faculty :

Student teacher relationship was good, and favourite teachers were mini balakrishnan and Ann Mary of maths department bsc, they not only teach good they also good advice and helps academicly and guid us good, and there were no bad experience with any of the faculty. From the beginning of the course I suggest the newly joined students to explore library and go through previous exam papers and materials that will help you a lot to perform well in exams Most of the students manage to pass in all subjects only around 5 to 10 present students fail in exams till end

Interview Experience :

As I mentioned before there was no gd for collage admission process there was only interview, But in one of our semesters we had softskills as a subject in which a mock interviews, gd were conducted and this should not only be limited to this one semester, our course structure should be bit updated by exposing students to these aspects and conducting mock interviews time to time.

Placement Experience:

In mc college the placement facilities are quite low and only few companies will appear for placement. The final year students are eligible for campus placements. And my plan after getting degree is joining for M.Sc chemistry of two years course in Bangalore city University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.

Remarks:

It has been a great experience studying at Christ. I have had both positive and negative influences. But the most important thing I gained from Christ is a critical perspective of my own. Whatever its demerits, I thank the college and the faculty for helping me grow into the person that I am now. The lessons I have gained from the campus and the memories it has given me will stay with me forever. It is indeed one of the top educational institutions of India, if you know how to utilize all the great facilities it offers. What I found is, if you are really interested in becoming someone, you can always choose Christ University, It'll give you a push in the right path. It all depends on how you make use of the opportunities before you. Either way, Christ is open to you. It welcomes you into its beautiful campus without any presumptuous notions on where you're from or who you were. Hence, it is a great place for me to make lifelong friendships. like I have.
