Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is updated every year so as to make it more relevant and comprehensive incorporating regular research work every year in the syllabus so that students can find more and more relevance to current problems being a science student...

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placements in fourth year They are eligible for internships from third year Companies like nvidea,Microsoft,Google ,Sterlite ,axis Bank, tata motors ,NTPC, Indian oil and many more visit every year for campus recruitments.... The placement percentage is 82 percent The median package is 10 lpa The highest package is 52 lpa offered by nvidia The average package is 13 lpa... My plans are to get placed in top semiconductor based companies and after that go for higher studies like MTech

Tution fee First year : 151550 ( including the internal charges mentioned below ) Second Year : 137050 Third Year : 137050 Fourth Year : 142000 Hostel fee First year : 31200 Second : 25200 ( single bed) 24200 (double bed ) Third and Fourth year : 20500 Internal charges :--- Admission fee 1000 Inst development fee 5000 All others 2925 Student activities 1000 Medical fee 1200 Grade card 500 For SC/ST/PH students shall get complete tution waiver EWS below 1 lakhs will get complete remission of tution fee EWS for income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh will get remission of 2/3 Rd of the tution fee Merit cum need based scholarships are given for tution fee waiver One of my batchmates belongs to sc category...his entire tution fee has been forgiven .... general candidates above 5 lpa family income don't get any fee waiver .... There are seperate fee waivers for girl children Also charges are taken for sports facilities 200 rupees each semester for 8 semesters ...

Campus Life :

Our college has two big events every year One cultural called moksha One technical called Ayam Along with event fests every week ... visited by top personalities as chief guests.... The library is one of the biggest among all colleges in India ....having 4 floors and a ton of books both academics and recreational .... Books are available on research topics also The class rooms are well equipped with chairs tables black and white boards respectively projectors and many more things to make learning enjoyable The sports complex is one of the biggest among all colleges with almost all games oyed there are two foot ball grounds one lawn tennis ground gym swimming pool and many more.. There are numerous clubs for different interest including robotics cultural debate music dance chess and a ton more about 23 clubs and societies

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms we get in first year are doubly occupied with two beds... an almirah ...study table ...chairs....and enough space for two people ... The mess food is quite good serving hot and delicious meals three times a day....with different menu each day... Registration for hostel and mess is don't through candidate portal in the nit website

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year

Admission :

I had given jee main exam got 97.6 percentile Gave JEE Advanced got 91 marks Gave VITEE for VIT vellore got 5713 rank Gave wbjee exam got 2700 rank Gave BITSAT got 221 marks From all these I got colleges like VIT vellore ECE in category 1 Jadavpur mechanical engineering Bits hyderabad mechanical And many NIT Ofc all I felt going to a government college like NIT is far better than joing private colleges And in other top colleges I was not getting top circuital branch... So I considered joing National Institute of Technology Agartala .... To get into this college one must score above 96 percentile in jee mains for general candidates and above 75 percent in class 12

Faculty :

The faculty to student ration is 1:20 which is pretty good for a national college.. The faculty introduces new teaching methods making learning more interesting... Doubts can be cleared easily because teachers are quite approachable both during and after class One of our maths professor named DR APU KUMAR SAHA ...who is our hod of maths department got into the top 2 percent scientist in world by Stanford...along with 3 other professors There are 4 main exams in a year ... 2 mid sem 2 end sem .... Along with periodics class tests each week each subject... Exams are quite difficult being in NIT ...but this is a good sign for a NIT ...but they can be solved by good practice and regularity

NIT Agartala - Student Review

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is very good. Median packages of CSE and ECE department is approximately 10 lakh rupees. Students doing good in college also get placement in the Companies like Google, Microsoft, Texus Instruments, Oracle etc which are considered to be the dream company of students. Student who have passes 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. The Highest Placement of CSE and ECE is 52 LPA. And the Highest Pre Placement Offer was 64 LPA. Overall approximately 90% student of CSE and ECE department get placed. My plans after getting a degree is to do a Job in a good Company or prepare for gate to pursue Mtech from IIT.

Good in all terms.

Remarks:

College infrastructure is excellent. Almost you can say it's a small city where all daily needs can be fulfilled. The students are quite technical. Overall, I don't find any disadvantage in college. sometimes snakes are found on the roads but it's quite natural because of the presence of grounds and other plants.

Remarks:

Management was good and understanding. Students also organize an annual meet which offers an opportunity to develop closer interaction and friendship among the students of the various colleges. Mess food was also good and hostel rooms were clean.
