Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is not unique. it is the same as all the other engineering colleges however an effort has been made to modernise it by introducing various specifications to match the industry. I think the curriculum prepares us pretty well because there is a culture of taking off campus jobs for a long time and students dont really rely on the institute to spoon-feed them Difficulties are alright and I suggest no change in a number of exams conducted.
Placement Experience :
The placements at our college are decent. Students become eligible from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit, offering around 100 jobs. The highest package is 8 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA. About 60% of students secure placements. I plan to pursue further studies or internships post-graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure is fairly simple with the first year's fees being 186000 and for the subsequent years, it is a little lower than that the total fees come out to be not more than 7 lakhs for the 4 years. the seat acceptance fee was 96000 at the time of ipu counselling and an additional 90000 was to be paid before the physical verification could begin so in total 186000. there are no scholarships as far as i know for other state students. there is a delhi government scholarship but that is independent of the college basically, none of my friends has availed of any kind of scholarship.
Campus Life :
My overall experience with campus life has been enriching, especially in the social aspects. The college hosts several annual and technical festivals, such as TechFest in March . There are also several student-run social groups and clubs, like the Debate Club and Cultural Society, which foster teamwork and creativity. These clubs significantly enhance student life, providing opportunities for networking and skill development.
Admission :
Basically, I chose this college primarily because of its location in Delhi and because the college itself is very established. it has been there for 2 decades besides the fee was very affordable here and very decent and realistic placements.
Faculty :
The faculty-to-student ratio seems fairly decent to me. the teachers are quite approachable basically, all faculties are decent but none stood out enough. I dont dislike no faculties in general very few of them are non cooperating ..there are 2 midsems and 1 end sem exams are decent not too hard since the exams are very oriented on class teaching hardly students fail
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
the program was fairly new as compared to mait ...mait was already well established in btech as compared to delhi university
