  • The canteen food for not upto the mark. There was a lot of compromise in terms of quality. The menu had 5-6 things only for about a year and only got updated when a new batch took admission.
  • There were no ACs on the lower ground classrooms. The disabled children could not go to the upper floors since there was no lift either. They had to study in suffocating, humid classes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The English Honors course is truly relevant. Literature teaches you about life, gives you the ability to judge(in good terms), be critical and decisive. I could suggest no improvements in the teaching methods. The faculty does their best, if the student js regular they'll get a hold of literature with expertise. The exam is easy to clear, not failing is easy, but scoring high is difficult. It's like they try not to fail the student but above that their marking is truly strict and honest.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid ?14194/- per year for Bachelors in English Honors. The tuition fee being ?216 along with library fee of ?300. This was all included with other compulsory maintenance charges amounting to ?2320/-. The student fund charges fee was ?9290/- which included college security and services fee and library development fund along with sports and athletics, WDC, NCC, departmental societies, general amenities, ECA and other student activities fee and other minor fees. The university charges fee was ?2450/- which included welfare fund of ?250, Uni Dev fee of ?1200/-, Uni facilities and Service charges of ?1250, and other minor charges. There wasn't much difference in the fee structure of reservation seats except for the convenience fee of ?114 and GST of ?20. There were no scholarships. The fee has increased to ?14570/-.

Campus Life :

The Annual fest of our college is conducted after diwali, one is conducted on diwali as well by the Cultural society. There are multiple fests conduct by other societies such as English Literary Association(which I was a part of) conducting a literary fest, Enactus conducting a business-related fest with lots of opportunities to participate in multiple firms, the placement cell conducting the annual placement fest. The library had a vast collection of books, I had almost every book I needed, even the expensive ones accessible in the library. The infrastructure for the fest was upto the mark, I personally had no problem with it. The infrastructure of our college was good.

Admission :

I applied to Vivekanand College, DU before Rajdhani and got an admission there, then I switched because the faculty here was praised in high regards. This turned out to be true. My college's faculty can be compared with Shivaji college's faculty, only a few teachers over there are extremely good but here most of the teachers sre Excellent. Even through Shivaji College is ranked better than Rajdhani College. The eligibility for my course is a percentage of more than 55%. I got an admission through merit but now CUET exam is mandatory to get admission. The admission process was easy through the samarth portal.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is 4:13. The faculty is very approachable even after the college hours. I liked almost all the faculty including Bharti Sharma, Varsha Gupta, Sachidanand Jha, Akanksha Goswami, Rohit Pandey, Shafiqul Alam, Azhar, Saumya, Rachna Safarnama. All of their classes were extremely inclusive and rich. The course was worth it because of them. The course curriculum is relevant, it has a rich blend of literatures all around the world. Going from the basic classics to 20th century literature. There are 2 exams per year, mid sem and end sem. Clearing exams is pretty doable but scoring is difficult. 2-3 students could fail in each subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The IGNOU course curriculum is comprehensive and relevant, especially for distance and open learning. Studying with IGNOU course can help in clearing your basics as well as detailed understanding of the topics. It is useful in preperation of government exams as well. The exams are conducted each year or every 6 months for different types of courses so the time to study and prepare is enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like my course because from the beginning I had to study Political Science under Bachelor of Arts. Also, this course is taught very well in the college but if some changes are made in it like language and selection of the right professor then it will be even better. Also, the exams in the college are held on time but the difficulty level is also different.

Remarks:

The environment of the college speaks for itself. The student body is one of its kind and the college management is satisfactory.

Admission:

The cut offs are generated after you have registered with DU. The process is a smooth process and less time consuming. Once your documents are verified you will be admitted to the college on that day itself. There is a gap of 45 days from the registration date to the date when the first cut off is released.

The job placements are very good at our College. Alumni batch of the college provides seminars for students every year in order to make children understand that why marks are less important than Knowledge. The exposure they provide to children so that they earn knowledge.

Remarks:

Our college had good staff members and very friendly and helpful alumni. the only exception is hostel facility due to which students have to struggle outside with cheap quality of food and residence. otherwise, everything is proper and suitable.
