Course Curriculum Overview :

B.com is a very prominent degree in commerce field. And the value added courses of the doon busines global university makes it very comprehensive and meets the requirements of the new commerce world. 3 exams are carried on for each semester

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 360000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement opportunities here is quite decent. Even an average student can end up somewhere good. A lot of finance companies have recently visited the campus and around 4/5th of the students definitely gets placed with good packages

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

B.com courses charges here is 3,60,000. (60k per semester) . However charges for pg courses are higher. If you score above 85% in 12th boards your scholarship is confirm and more the percentage more is the scholarship. Performing well in college exams continues your scholarship

Campus Life :

I am a basketball player so i am very actively engaged in the dbs basketball club. There are well functioning clubs of other sports as well. The academics club in the university conduct several opportunities such as debates , mock parliaments and so on

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are luxurious both boys and girls. There are several categories of the rooms provided. I went for double seater room with attached washroom and balcony , it costed me around 90,000 per year. Meals provided is quite nutritious and is given 4 times a day.

Hostel Fee : INR 140000 per year

Admission :

I applied to Dbs global university due to the following reasons:- 1) location 2) certificate/value added courses 3) Return on investment is High 4) good reviews The selection process has 2 steps 1) interview 2) written test

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 50:1. And less in the pg courses. The faculties are open for doubts at any time and they try their level best for the best to come out of us. There are theee exams in total. Mid term, end term and university exams.

Interview Experience :

There are no group discussions but there are two levels of clearing exams the cumulative marks obtained will be added and then the seat will be allotted to you or not will be decided. Interview carries more weightage and then the written aptitude test.

Placement Experience:

From third year starting you become eligible for campus placement There were many companies like tcs google Decathlon emonics aptara and many more i was placed in decathlon and emonics package were from 3 lakh to 7.5 lakh per year and percentage of students getting placements were 50 as there are local students mostly so they dont know english so they used to get rejected and no discipline and not good for the job I accepted the placement from Emonics and worked for 1 year and after that now i am doing govt job in sikkim

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the curriculum doesn't prepare us for realworld experiences the subject matter ia kot much relevant in real life . The teachers should emphasise on practical examples rather than just use bookish language just for tha sake of completing syllabus the frequency of exams is very high and improper not much time is given to the students to prepare for the exams

Honest College review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was good , it prepares us good or infact really goos for the real world applications , we had few subjects like critical thinking , project management , corporate governance and all which gave us real life things . overall the subjects helped us to develop ourself mentally. i think theres no need of imprpvement in teaching methods , they are good , they are very very engaing , they teach through ppts , give us practical assignments and all. we have two exams , one is midsems and end sems exams , and the exams are also not very difficult.

Remarks:

It is a well renowned college of Uttarakhand.Along with studies it provide many other opportunities in other fields to. Our college provide scholarship to the students. It organise different different event in a duration of time to enhance our knowledge.
