Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum that influenced me about the course is that they provide a wide variety of methods and techniques inorder to teach the students about the practical and theoretical approaches on the real world applications

Internships Opportunities :

Internship in SRM medical College is a 6months worth of experience. Where they charge us a fee amount of 60000rs. During the period of internship the teachings and experience from the faculties molds us into a better professional working members of the society

Placement Experience :

The course that I pursue now does not avail any of the placement offers but they do offer a 6 months internship where we have to work at different postings each month and had to submit a presentation. After bachelors course the minimum payment you can get per month is about 30000rs

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees per year (tution)- 140000rs Fees per year (hostel)- 118000rs Fees per year ( NRI)- 180000 Lab coat- 1000rs Goniometer- 700rs Scrubs- 740 per set (3sets) Exam fees - 8500 semester-1 Exam fees- 9580 semester-2

Campus Life :

SRM institute of science and technology Kattankulathur is popularly known for its extra curricular activities other than academics, Medical department has fests like 'Panacea' (one of the biggest medical culturals fest in south india) , Hygiea (A sports event conducted along with panacea) and 'Milan' ( Conducted by dental college students). SRM University provides a lot of clubs and activities for students which they can be a part of. These clubs and social groups provide the students an exposure to pursue their passion as well

Hostel Facilities :

I have been provided with a non air conditioned 3 member room and a common bathroom which costs around 50000rs per year and the mess fees charged 68000 ( this might vary year by year based on the prices of groceries that specific time). The meal quality in the hostel canteen is not much appreciable because the taste and quality of the food is not much great that's something that SRM University hostels should consider. The registration and admission in the hostels is easier process where the cancellation is tedious process.

Admission :

Actually I didn't applied to anyother colleges other than this institution. The exposure and placement offers and internship is better compared to other institutions of the same caliber. And they conduct a entrance exams which is strictly conducted online exam

Faculty :

Faculty to students ratio : 4:25 And the faculty ratio varies from department to department My most favourite faculty of SRM college of occupational therapy is Mrs.Sree Lekha ma'am Most hated faculty is I cannot name them as it might cause a bad name to them
