Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is almost similar to what students of Delhi University study. It provides basics of many sectors. But there is a great room for improvement in terms of the practical application of knowledge. Although skill enhancement courses are provided during the course, still there is room for improvement.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships provided by the college are pretty average,it is suggested to find your own internship. Companies like AIM, Mozhund etc. come for internships. The roles offered by them are usually of marketing, sales, and few accounting roles which are usually incentive based.
Placement Experience :
The average placement after the completion lf BBA degree stands in between 4-5 lacs per annum. Companies such as Deloitte, Delivery,Amul, Accenture,Wipro etc come for on campus placements. The placement was almost 100% but you should consider that not all of the students applied for the campus placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
One of the best colleges for BBA under GGSIPU, Jims Rohini is a good pick for Delhites. The fees is quite affordable (Rs.122800 per year) and the faculty is good too.The campus is not too big as compared to other private colleges but the infrastructure is good. There are good opportunities for those who wish to seek them. The college also provides hostel service (for Rs.165000 per year including food).
Campus Life :
Even though the campus size is small, the campus life is decent. The college hosts its annual fest-Verve around February, where celebrity guests appear (in 2024 it was B Praak) . The cultural club too has its events almost every month. The college also hosts its own inter college Panel discussion- Geoconclave in around April and also its inter college hackathon - Technoviz during the month of September.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility provided by the college is pretty average. The hostel fee per year for undergraduate students is Rs.165000 as of 2023.But within this amount a decent flat or PG can be rented. The meals are average, sometimes good sometime bad.The hostel fee includes the room rent (for double sharing room) , 100 units of free electricity per room (after that, Rs.11 per unit is charged) , and has an air conditioners and geyser fitted in the washrooms. Some of the rooms include a balcony too while the washroom is shared between 2 or 3 rooms.
Admission :
The fee of this college is one of the major reasons i picked this college. It is way more affordable as compared to other private colleges and universities which offer the same course and have fee such that there is almost no ROI.The most preferred way for admission into Jims Rohini and GGSIPU is through IPU-CET examination. The college also accepts admissions through CUET score.Any rank under 3500 in IPU-CET would be safe for Delhi candidates
Faculty :
Most of the faculty members are quite good and have good experience in terms of teaching college students(some of them even have their books published). Most of them are approachable. The internal examinations are a great way to increase the overall SGPA.The end semester exams are easy too,if you are attentive in the class.
